Amber POV

"Ha! Huff! Aargh!"

*Shing! Shing! *

"I want to learn swordsmanship," Cleon said while watching the two knights sparr together with their wooden sword.

The two of us, accompanied by Gesine, are watching the knights train their swordsmanships here at the training ground.

"You can learn that," I said to Cleon while I ate some pudding.

"I know. It's just that I don't know if I'm qualified," he said, and I laughed at him. "What? What's so funny?" he furrowed. "Trust me. If you give yourself a chance, you'll be overqualified," I said, then took a bite of the pudding.

I'm stating facts. Although Cleon was the unrevealed character, I have a background for him. He's supposed to be the head of the knights in this kingdom, but I scratched it and crumpled. So he should hate me for that.

"But the young master should finish his study first before taking swordsmanship. So, his highness would be gladly to comply," Gesine said, and I agree with her. "Myeah! No brain, no aim," I said while nodding.

"I have a brain!" Cleon said.

"Yes! Yes! But no use," I said back, and I began to fume while Gesine sighed.

"That's enough, my lady," Gesine said, and I just looked straight at the knights who were sparring.

"You should train too, Gesine," I said out of the blue while Gesine flinched. "Y-yes? Train for what, my lady?" she said.

"Yeah, Gesine is already capable of taking care of you," Cleon said, and I looked at Gesine.

"That's right. But sometimes you have to learn combat for self-defense," I said seriously while I gave the pudding to Cleon, then I stood up. "Hmm. Let's see," I said as I walked closely to the wooden swords.

"Does the princess want to have a wooden sword?" said Sir Marcus, who approached me, and I nodded at him. "Here. Have this; it might be heavy for you to handle it." He picked up a wooden sword for me and gave it to me. "Yeah. A little heavy," I said as I took the wooden sword.

"What are you going to do with that, my lady?" Gesine said.

"Don't tell me you're going to sparr with them; you're too little," Cleon said.

"Sigh. Cleon's brain is really small," I said back to him while taking a look at the wooden sword.

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" Cleon said, but I ignored him because I'm too focused on this wooden sword.

I think this can work. Gesine can't wield a sword-she wields a spear.

I intensely grip the wooden sword, and I slowly reshape it into a wooden spear.

"EH?!?"

"The princess made it into a spear!" said the knights.

"Yes!" I gladly said while showing the spear to them with my two hands, and then I saw Gesine was speechless seeing the spear. "Gesine, come here and take it."
