Calixtus POV

"Ah! Yes, I got it! Look, Cleon! Gesine! I got it!"
 
"My lady! That's poisonous!"
 
"I know, right?"
 
"You're unbelievable! Do you want to die?!"
 
"My lady! Stop touching things! Please!"
 
"Hahaha! What a graceful daughter you have, your majesty,"  said Gael as he watched my daughter holding a napellus flower through the window.
 
"She's indeed unpredictable,"  I said as I stood up from the sofa and then walked in front of my desk to check on the papers that Gael brought from the West. 
 
"Oh, it seems she really hit your interest now,"  he said with a tease tone, but I just ignored him and continued doing the paperwork. 
 
"Ah! Getting serious again." he stood firm as I looked at him. "As the paper says, it has many reports that monsters are attacking everywhere. Previously, the goblins at south, the ogres at west, the orcs and golems at north, and the Nymphs at east, who were surprisingly active after a decade."  he looked at me intently to see my reaction to the sudden attacks of the Nymphs.

"And the Demon Lord's lead them?" I asked, and he nodded. "Yes. It seems the three demon lords are on the move, and there's a possibility that this country of yours is the main target because they never succeeded in lying down here thanks to your mighty hands,"  he said with a little silly tone.
 
"And Scelus appeared, then fought Gwydion,"  I said abruptly. 
 
"Ah! Yes, right after your daughter got kidnapped, then successfully free the other missing children. She's quite lucky for a cursed blind child." I stopped what I'm doing and looked out the window to see my daughter, who was now harvesting many napellus flowers in the garden, while Gesine and Cleon were in distress.
 
"We need to strengthen our troops,"  I said. 
 
"Oh! What's the sudden word? You usually will say that "I, King Calixtus, will protect this kingdom and slay the enemies with my bare hands." that ridiculous stuff." I flinched a little when he said that, but I glared at him. "Hahaha! You're more unpredictable than your daughter, Calix,"  he laughs.

"Just go back to the west and babysit the prince, Gael,"  I said. 
 
"Oh! Speaking of the prince, I might include your daughter as a candidate for prince Zale." I glared at him again, but this time it's more intense, which made him burst out laughing.

*Swoosh!*
 

*Glass breaks*

 
Gael stopped laughing, and my eyes widened when the window was just broken by a thrown rock.
 
"My lady! Stop it! You're being reckless! That's your father's office!" Gesine said as me and Gael looked out the window. 
 
"So what? Father said I can do what I want." My daughter's being unbothered; that's her new behaviour that I had tolerated. 
 
"Your highness! I apologise for the inconvenience!" Gesine bowed continuously. 
 
"Are you out of your mind?! You're being a brat princess!" Cleon said, and I totally agree. 
 
I can say that she intentionally threw the rock on my window because I knew that she was using her ability to hear our conversation. 
 
"Just don't ever include my daughter in your schemes,"  I seriously said to him, and then he just shrugged his shoulders.

Amber POV

That's a threat that I've sent to you, Duke Gael! What are you even thinking? Pairing me up with my own male lead? He's even younger than me, for Pete's sake!
