Ukraine POV-
The week has been pretty decent so far I'd say, it has been quite a gloomy morning and I'm heading to P.E, I've just finished computing.I enter the girls changing room- it's usually just amazing, the vibe is just "something else." That's what the other countries say anyway 😅
I casually toss my bag to the bench and start getting changed, the changing room is filled with perhaps 15 other countries at most-, all chatting with each-other, until Georgia gathers everyone's attention.
Giggling, she stumbles into the centre of the room. She is quite a tall, energetic and sometimes a rule- breaking country most of the time.
Still giggling she pulls out her phone and starts reading off it:
"Ok guysssss, I've got some shipping info!!!"
Well isn't that just fantastic- it's not like ships bothered me , really I just never really got the whole "love" appeal. Then again I've never really been in love... my thoughts trailed off.
"Ok, ok so we've got..."
She continues reading and ships two countries I've literally never heard of before in a different class.
"And finally-"
She is interrupted by another country, Tunisia, she is wearing a hijab and is fully changed.
"Wait, I think I know who it is!"
The pair are giggling simultaneously and it's kind of disturbing.
Georgia lets Tunisia take a guess.
"Is it Ukraine and Canada!"
"YEAHH"
I am overwhelmed with a feeling of emotions.
"W-What?!" I say in a whisper sort of shoutHalf of me wanted everyone to stop looking at me.
Half of me wondered how the hell I got wrapped up in a situation when I've barely said a word in the past 3 days .I can practically feel their eyes stuck to me in momentary silence.
"What the hell?" I laugh off in a way to hide my embarrassment. The room erupts with giggles, harmless gossip and comments on how we look so "cute together"
And I start immediately questioning Tunisia and Georgia.Apparently we looked so cute sat together in math.
The girls continued to explain to a now listening room how either I HAD TO like him or he HAD TO like me...
I want to protest but not only am I at a loss for words as the giggling revives, but our PE teacher, Sweden walks in and asks us to hurry up with changing.
I leave the room with all eyes on me and hastily tread to the sports hall.
A small spark of despise and confusion igniting in my body.——————————————————————-okay guys, I kid you not everything in this chapter happened to me. The dialogue said by Georgia and Tunisia is (if I remember correctly ) was actually said word- for- word, for this reason this chapter may have felt a bit different from my usual chapters 😅
it's been quite a few terms since the incident and has been long- forgotten but this was definitely a ... pivotal moment.
(Ukraines story as I've already mentioned is based off my own, my own sadly does/did not have a happy ending so I will try my best to give Ukraine the fairytale ending I didn't get 🥲)
