Canada stood outside the room.
...Should he go in?
Or should he just hide in the bathroom? He was honestly debating for the longest time before he decided.
'Screw it'
He politely knocked on the door, a few seconds passed before a girl in her Pj's opened the door cautiously. Her hair was a mess - untamed despite the tight pony tail.
She jumped back in shock for a second realising who was at her door, she then immediately slammed the door in the guests face and scrambled around the room wide eyed.
'Shoot. Did I do something wrong?' Canada thought to himself feeling a pang of guilt in his chest.
Ukraine undid her hair letting it rest upon her shoulders - it still looked tangled and messy.
She felt bad, realising she'd just slammed the door in the face of a boy - not just any boy though, the boy everyone 'shipped' her with because of a stupid seating plan that was reused in other subjects.
She had to admit though, he was innocent and could make her feel maybe a bit of joy whenever he cracked a joke, or made a slight mistake causing him to become erratic and flustered easily.
It was kind of adorable.Ukraine opened the door again cringing at herself and her thoughts.
'Sorry,'
'Sorry!'The pair stared blankly at each other.
"Why are you sorry??" Ukraine asked the Canadian, slightly taken aback that he had also apologised."Oh... umm.. I don't know..." an unchanging resting expression on his face.
Ukraine thought to herself,
'From what Ive heard, most girls would probably be going crazy if their "crush" talked to them. They'd probably think something about their voice or attractive eyes..
Ukraine glanced at the Canadians face and was met with his large yet slim eyes - the same pair which led her to believe he was an Asian country.
She then recalled the key of his voice, it wasn't very deep but it was... nice...'The fact I didn't think of those things first just shows that I don't think about this boy romantically... never mind having a "crush" on them.'
Another thought occurred in the back of her mind soon after.'...You just did.'
'You still are'It was hushed in her mind. Easily ignorable, but nonetheless.
Still present.
It occurred to her they were both just stood by a doorway.
"Oh, you can come in," she moved to the side of the door allowing more than enough room for the guest to enter.
"No, it's fine"
Ukraine glanced back with a curious expression.
"Wait. No. I mean- umm yeah"
Canada moved his hands to his hair in stress.Ukraine didn't change her curious expression
"Wait no!" He double took on his previous word.
From what Ukraine could understand whenever something like this happened (which it did often) he was waiting for a sign of confirmation from the other person that he did or said the right thing - 'the right thing' being something the other person was pleased or satisfied with.
