"How do you know Nurse Katuya?" Kamiwaii questioned Dr.Wonk as he fumbled with documents at his desk.
"S-She was my intern, before she graduated from Buaisōna!"
Sutō interrupted. "Did you work at Buaisōna?" He asked as he walked around the large office.
Kodomo and Kure rummaged through the room as they spoke. What was left of the office included the Doctor's desk, a few chairs, and sparse shelves covered in opaque jars and artifacts.
"No, I didn't—DON'T YOU TOUCH ANYTHING!" Dr.Wonk wagged his crinkled finger at them.
"Hey old-timer, you chill out—we ain't touchin' anything!" Kure barked.
Kamiwaii interrupted. "What did you go get?"
Dr. Wonk sat back in his seat, then reached in his coat pocket. He took something from within, then slid it across the desk.
Kamiwaii snarled as he looked at the object. "A medal? You messing with me, Doc'?" Kamiwaii barked.
"Look at the s-symbol, son!"

The Doctor sighed. "This is a clairvoyant rank medallion. Any citizen who possessed the dormant gene had to wear this medallion once committed to Meikuhiru Towers!"
Kamiwaii squinted his eyes in confusion. "Wait, like the forbidden rank? I thought that was the CCC rank?"
Dr. Wonk scoffed. "That was the story told to PSA personnel and observers so that no one could really know the truth..."
"So it is a myth?" Sutō asked.
"Is it a myth that the CCC rank exists? Yes, but that only spread amongst the city to conceal the true forbidden rank. XXX."
"So Meikuhiru Towers, what's up with that place?" Kure asked nonchalantly.
Dr. Wonk gasped. "That is a bad place. They make it seem as if it's helping the children, as if they actually care about the children. I once thought so too—" Dr. Wonk sighed in guilt. "But it's only a prison!"

"Draining? Like turning them into Adrenochrome or something?" Sutō suggested.
"Far worse. Most of the DNA gets synthesized, then sold into the black market to lower rank citizens to gain more functions. The rest is used in the XXX project!"
