I kept my eyes closed as I lay in bed in this quiet morning. I knew today Alex and I are switching to the hotel John booked for us. How fun. I honestly wanted to stay in bed all day and do absolutely nothing and interact with no one.
"Morning" I heard Alex's morning voice across the room and saw him making coffee.
I'm assuming he knows I'm really awake, I swear he knows me better than anyone.
I sighed and opened my eyes and sat up slowly leaning on my elbows. "Good morning." I replied taking the covers off of me.
I go to look at my phone and checked for any messages and emails, I got one from Lindsey saying, "I miss you; I am almost done with my position for the time being and I hope to come see you." I smiled excitingly.
"Yes of course! I miss you so much, stay safe." I replied back and sat my phone back on my nightstand then go to run my hands over my face. I feel so tired.
I finally got the courage to get up from my bed to get a cup of water. "You ready to move to a new hotel today?" I heard Alex ask.
I let out a quiet groan, "No, because of course, out of all days, today I feel like crap." I took a sip of water letting the cold water go down my throat satisfyingly.
"It will be fine, we just gotta pack, bring our stuff and then we are getting drove there." He shrugged zipping up a backpack.
I walked to my suitcase to quickly pick out a suitable outfit for today, I wanted to be comfortable as much as possible. I go in the bathroom to change and brush my teeth then brush my hair and collect all of my thing out of the bathroom after that.
I put my lady necessities in a tiny bag and shove it into my suitcase along with my other things. Once I'm finally done, I zip up my suitcase letting out a relieving sigh.
Alex comes storming in the door, I didn't even realize he had left.
"Welp, I guess John really is taking care of everything." He rolled his eyes, what's his deal?
"Well," I pause, "Yeah, so?" I scrunch my eyebrows at him in confusion.
I glance at my suitcase then back up at him. "What's wrong?" I asked. He shook his head and shrugs, "Nothing, nothing. I don't know why I'm so angry." He brings his head down with his hands on his hips.
I walk over to him and press my hand on his shoulder, and let out a exaggerated sigh, "Is it that time of the month again Alex?" I asked sort of smiling at him, waiting for him to look at me.
He brings his head up and looks to me, he is trying to not smile. "Come on, light up." I said and slightly pat his shoulder that my hand was on and walk back over to my things.
I set my suitcase on the floor and roll it over to the door, see I have always been a simplistic person where I don't pack as much, but Alex on the other hand. He has a backpack in a backpack with a suitcase and a small bag. I shook my head and smiled at the thought.
I rolled my suitcase out the door heading to the elevator. I told Alex I would wait for him in the lobby.
As I walked into the elevator, I press 1 and when the elevator doors are about to close and I'm just staring at the floor. I see John breaking through the doors.
He is breathing heavily keeping his gaze on me very intently. And right when the doors shut, he practically leaps at me leaving me no space and air once I'm pinned in the corner.
I feel his hands all over me when he kisses me desperately. I was so caught off guard by this that I'm still trying to process this. I'm feeling tingles running up my legs into my heat, through my stomach, my arms my hands, my heart. Oh, I can't breathe but I like it, I like that I can't breathe because his lips are stopping it.
