The locker room was buzzing with excitement. After a win, it was hard not to be excited, especially right before the international break. Players were being selected to go play for their national teams. Tallulah had been sitting on the bench, waiting for the coaches to announce who was going, for what seemed like decades. She had been so nervous that Jamie somehow would not make it onto the team he had wanted to play for so long.

It also didn't help that tomorrow was the day of their thirteen-week doctor's appointment, which meant they could finally start telling people about their lemon. They had decided to tell Roy first, with Jamie being the one who wanted to tell him. Then they planned to tell Ted, then Rebecca, and finally the rest of the team.

The coaches stepped out of their office, halting Tallulah in her baby thoughts. "All right, fellas and Bambi of course, way to play out there today. Congratulations on yet another victorious outcome!" Ted spoke, causing everyone to erupt into cheers. "Hey, quick reminder. Because of the break in our schedule due to international play, there is no game next week, all right?"

"That's gonna be nice, though I guess I still have to come into work..." She trailed off in thought.

"Anyhoo, we want to say good night and good luck to the fellas on our squad that have been chosen to represent their home country next week. Coach, who we talking about?" Ted spun it over to Beard.

"Just up the way at Wembley, making his debut for England, Jamie Tartt!"

The entire room cheered as Tallulah gave him a kiss on the cheek. "There wasn't a chance you wouldn't make it, babes." Jamie just looked down at her and gave her a beaming yet bashful smile.

"Taking the plane to Toronto to play goal for Canada, Van Damme!" Beard announced, causing another round of cheers to erupt. "Who will be going up against Mexico and Dani Rojas!" Another break for applause, "Bumbercatch holding it down for Switzerland."

"Wait, hold on. Bumbercatch, you're Swiss?" Ted questioned, not believing the news.

"Yeah. Look at me." The shorter man gestured to himself.

"No, you're right. Yeah, all right." Ted seemed to mutter to himself.

"And repping Wales, Colin Hughes!" Beard ended the list.

More cheers followed before the room was filled with a happy but unjust silence. Tallulah was looking from Beard to Sam to Beard again. "Is that all?" Her voice rang out through the room.
