Finding Him

Shi Qingxuan

I moaned softly as He Xuan licked my neck and I sat in his lap. A few years after we became friends he confessed to me that he was a ghost king and was pretending to be Ming Yi so he could spy for Hua Cheng. I was shocked to learn that my brother had switched our fates and that he had also devoured the reverend of empty words that was after me but what surprised me the most was when he had confessed his feelings to me.

I had always been in love with him but I had never expected him to return them, I was very much prepared to have a one-sided love relationship with him and just be his friend but that wasn't the case. "Qingxuan". He whispered softly into my ear. I moaned more but soon took notice to my necklace glowing and got off of him immediately. "I have to go". "Of course

He brought me back and I ran as fast as I could while following the direction my necklace was leading me in. Since the day I ascended my brother had special necklaces made for us that glowed whenever the other was in trouble or hurt. I ran and ran but couldn't find him no matter how many corners I had to turn. After what felt like forever I eventually found him unconscious on one of the abandoned roads.

"Wudu"! I ran over to him immediately and carefully turned him over in my arms. "Wudu can you hear me"? I asked with tears in my eyes. He was unconscious but I could tell something awful had happened to him from the marks on his arms.

"Big brother please"! Tears started to form in my eyes. I had no idea what to do or how to help him. I wanted to get him to our palace but knew he wouldn't want anyone taking pity on him.

"Little fish please"!

I called out through our private communication array.

"What is it love? Did you find him"?

"I did but he won't wake up and I can't move him".

"I'm on my way".

Within seconds he was running over to us and helped me pick him up and bring him to the palace of wind and water. "It's ok Wudu, your gonna be ok". I said comfortingly as we walked him over to his bed and laid him down gently.

"We have to tell someone Qingxuan, he needs medical treatment". "Can you please do it, I don't want to leave him". I whispered. "Of course my love".

Ming Yi

"What are you doing right now"? I asked Hua Cheng through our private communication array

"I'm with gege, why? Is something wrong"?

"Tell him he needs to come, Qingxuan needs him right now".

"Will do".

Luckily for me, it didn't take any time to get to the medical ward, I made my way inside and spoke to one of the nurses right away.

"Is everything ok Ming Yi"? "Shi Wudu was injured and needs medical attention, he's at the Palace of Wind and Water with Shi Qingxuan". "We'll send someone by right away don't worry". I nodded and left.
