Of course she knows Ladybug! Why would she lie about that!" Alya exclaimed at a frustrated Marinette.

The two girls had found a secluded spot in the park across from the bakery, as Marinette had had another run in with Lila that morning. With Alix having already had a pop at Marinette about how she had reacted to the news of Lila 'hanging out' with Ladybug, Marinette needed some time away from the rest of the class. Apparently scoffing at Lila's claims had been uncalled for, and the actions of a jealous class mate. Boooy! Were they wrong!

"Just like she knows Jagged Stone?" Marinette grumbled at Alya's defensive nature towards the lying brunette back at school. Her chin resting on her knees which were pulled up tightly too her chest. Presently, the epitome of a defeated, frustrated school girl, Marinette had found herself close to becoming the next victim of Hawkmoth on several occasions due to this.

"Exactly! And Prince Ali and-"

"You really think she knows all of them?" Coldly, Marinette cut across her friend's eagerness to provide further examples of 'apparent' friends of Lila's.

"Well yeah! Marinette just leave the jealous rants pl-" "Alya was exasperated at Marinette's refusal to comply with what the rest of the class could 'clearly' see. Using her hands as she spoke to add emphasis, Alya was finding it difficult to be sat with her friend, when Marinette was being stubborn about accepting that Lila was telling the truth.

"It's not jealous rants Alya! She is hoodwinking you into believing her tall tales and blatant li-" Marinette shot back, feeling the anger rising in her chest, like a bubble that was about to pop, with cataclysmic repercussions.

"I have no reason to not believe her?" Cutting over Marinette, Alya's words were simply put. This caused Marinette great pain when she debated them for a moment.

"So what's your reason for not believing me?" Looking truly perplexed at her friends obvious lack of trust in herself.

"Because I know how much you like Adrien!"

"That has nothing to do with it!" Marinette argued back to a determined Alya, arms crossed and closed body language, Alya was not listening.

"Ah-ha? Well why is it that she's all over Adrien, and you are the only one accusing her of lying about these amazing things she's done." Alya shot back, thinking this point had proved hers. A celebratory spark in her eye as she met Marinette's irate blue orbs.

"I don't say Chloé's lying!" Marinette countered successfully. "And she's always hugging her 'Adrikins'." Adding a well known fact to her argument, trying to solidify her statement.

"You still don't like Chloé though!" Alya pointed out with a smirk, thinking she could use this to back up her own theory.

"Strangely, she's growing on me." Marinette rebutted Alya's comment, "she's not all bad Alya."

"Oh? How so?" Surprised at Marinette's admission, Alya was legitimately intrigued as to how Marinette's long time bully, could suddenly have shifted into a more positive view in Marinette's mind.

"She's not buying that bitches lies either," Marinette explained, which had truth to it. Chloe had also scoffed at Lila's tales, but everyone expected this behaviour from her. Leading to no one taking much notice. "And she does know people in high places. This is proven."

"We've seen Lila with Prince Ali!" Alya's voice became louder and more infuriated than before, thinking she had Marinette backed into a corner.

"No. We saw a video of her. In front of a back drop." Marinette deadpanned.

"Marinette, you're becoming a broken record, leave it." Seeing that she wasn't going to make any difference to Marinette's view on Lila, Alya tried to end the conversation while still frustrated.
