Fatima had to admit to herself that nurse Zach extremely attractive. She thought, I wonder if he has a girlfriend or perhaps a wife? Fatima didn't know why, but thinking he was attached to someone else angered her. Fatima thought to herself get a grip, girl. This man is going to help you get better. You shouldn't be thinking about sleeping with him. While Fatima was lost in her thoughts, Zac was doing the same thing in his thoughts about whether Fatima had a man or not. The thought bothered him greatly because he wanted to pursue her if she let him. Zac thought you got to start thinking with your head and not your dick. You are supposed to be assisting in her treatment plan, not trying to sleep with this young woman. While Zac was walking to the front of the hospital with Fatima, Fatima noticed out of the corner of her eye that the nurses were looking at her sideways. She just continued walking before she had to slap a bitch, and she really was not in the mood for bullshit today.
Fatima: "Zac, I want to thank you for walking me to the front door and speaking with me regarding the treatment plan. I really appreciate it."
Zac: "Fatima, you don't have to thank me for doing my job. I love what I do."
Fatima: "Well, your dedication to your job is possibly going to save my life, so I owe you everything at this point. I really do." said Fatima.
Zac: "Again, you don't have to thank me. But if you insist on thanking me, how about I take you to the restaurant across the street, and we have lunch and get to know each other a little bit better? That is if you don't have a man at the moment. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes, you know.
Fatima: "I'd love to go to lunch with you, Zac." Fatima says with a smile on her face.
Zac could not believe his luck that this beautiful woman would bless him with her presence and go to lunch with him. Zac was over the moon with excitement because he hadn't seen a woman as bad as Fatima in a long ass time, and he was ready to get to know her on a personal level.
Zac and Fatima walked across the street to The Food Shoppe restaurant. Zac was glad they decided on this place because it was just before noon, there were only three other people in the Restaurant, and it was lunchtime. So, Fatima and Zac got seated in the Restaurant and quickly placed their orders. Fatima got fried chicken, mac and cheese, cabbage, and cornbread. Zac got fried catfish, mac and cheese with Collard Greens, and Cornbread.
So, Zac was the first to speak, so Fatima, tell me about yourself?" Fatima thought about Zac's question and really gave it some thought.
Fatima: "Well, to answer your question, Zac, I'm 21 years old. I'm originally from North Carolina. I moved - here to Atlanta after I graduated college with a degree in Communication and a minor in law. I Come from a two-parent household; my mother, Mona, is a retired Nurse, my father, Jason, is a retired police officer, and my little sister Anissa is 19 years old and an immense pain in my ass. She says, laughing. Great, Zac, what else should I know about you? I'm really curious. He says with a smile on his face.
Fatima, so Nurse Zac, tell me about yourself.
Zac: "Well, to answer your questions, Fatima, I'm 25 years old. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. My mother was on drugs really bad; therefore, I was primarily raised by my grandmother. She was the light of my life. She was the person who inspired me to go into medicine, to begin with. She was diagnosed with cancer, and I was there for her every step of the way until the end. She was the one who always told me I could do whatever I put my mind to doing.
Fatima: "Wow, Zac, that story you told me. I want to tell you that your grandmother was right. You can do whatever you set your mind to. I'm a testament to that, believe me." Just remember that you can do whatever you want. Look at you already, a nurse, and I don't think I didn't hear Doctor Stevens say you wanted to become a doctor." Do you know what type of doctor you want to be?"
Zac: "I have a few options I'm going over in my head, but I haven't decided yet." I have been tying up loose ends in my personal life. Now that I have the most complicated complication out of my life, I can focus on the positive moving forward. I now-have the time to sit down and focus on what direction I want my life to go, including what type of doctor I want to be.
Fatima thought that Zac was indeed an amazing individual, and if she weren't dying, he would definitely be the type of guy she would go for. He was smart, ambitious, educated, motivated, dedicated, and, let's not forget, fine as fuck. Zac would definitely be the type of person her parents would be proud of her dating. They absolutely hated Alex, and now that Fatima had a chance to think about it, she knew absolutely why they disliked him so much.
Zac was also in this thoughts at the moment, and Fatima definitely intrigued him a lot. He wanted to get to know her deeply, and if he were honest with himself, he also wanted to know her intimately. Zac and Fatima were so engaged in their conversation that Zac did not know that his lunch break was up about 15 minutes prior.
Zac: " I have to get back to work Fatima. I'm sorry my lunch was over a few minutes ago."
Fatima: "I'm so sorry I kept you this late."
Zac: "Don't be sorry. I'm not, that's for sure." He said with a massive grin on his face.
Zac: "Fatima, I would love to do this again sometime?"
Fatima: "Definitely." She says with a sweet smile.
Zac: "So, can I get your number?"
Fatima: "(678) 346-7985." Text or call me anytime.
Zac: "You will definitely be hearing from me. Believe that Fatima"
Fatima: "Enjoy the rest of your day, okay, Zac."
Zac: "You do the same, Beautiful."
