Fatima was excited to receive the Facetime call from Zac. She quickly answered. As she reflected on her feelings, she couldn't deny her strong attraction towards Zac. It wasn't just his physical appeal that drew her in but also his magnetic charisma, unwavering drive, and deep dedication to his patients. He embodied everything Fatima had ever wanted in a partner, yet she grappled with the notion of embarking on a relationship with him, given the circumstances. Her concerns extended to the ethical implications within the hospital - was it permissible to engage in a romantic relationship with a patient under his care?

Fatima dismissed it as something she couldn't dwell on now and refocused on the task.

Fatima: "Hey Zac. How are you this evening? "

Zac: Hey, Beautiful. I just got off work early. I used to do overnight on-call, but not tonight," he says, smiling.

Fatima: "Hey there, I see you're calling me on Facetime. What's the occasion for this surprise call?" she asked with a friendly smile.

Zac: "Well, Fatima, what if I told you I just wanted to see your gorgeous face again?'"

During their conversation, Fatima noticed that Zac exuded charm and confidence. She admired his self-assured demeanor and clear sense of purpose.

Fatima "Alright, I see you, Mr. Taylor," Fatima said with a smile as she glanced at her watch. "Since you have the evening off, I'm curious to know your exciting plans for the rest of the evening?"

Zac could not contain a chuckle as he gazed at Fatima's expression, which never left him in awe. Once again, her mesmerizing beauty left him speechless. Despite having met her less than 24 hours ago, Zac was completely enamored with this woman and desperately wanted to protect her with all he had. Their earlier lunch conversation revealed Fatima's strong and positive outlook on life and her unwavering dedication and determination to make the most of every moment.

Fatima: "Zac, Zac, Zac," Fatima called out, but Zac was so deep in thought that he didn't even notice her calling him.

Zac: I'm sorry, Fatima. I got lost in my thoughts.

Fatima: "What thoughts were occupying your mind at that moment? Are you comfortable sharing them?"

Zac: "Do you wish to hear the unadulterated truth without sugar-coating or embellishment?"

Fatima: "Zac, I expect complete honesty from you, nothing less."

 Zac: "Hey, Fatima, I want to answer your question by saying I was completely absorbed in my thoughts, which were all about you. Specifically, I was captivated by your unwavering strength, ability to overcome challenges, and sharp intelligence. I was struck by your love for the people in your life and your unwavering commitment to living life on your own terms, fearlessly and with absolute determination. I was also thinking about your incredible beauty, which is truly captivating. You are an extraordinary person in every sense."

"Fatima was truly surprised by Zac's comment. Apart from her parents and sister, no one had ever spoken so highly of her character. Her ex, Alex, was never one to compliment her. He always had some backhanded, slick comment to tell her when she wouldn't fall for his gaslighting techniques." Alex was a man who struggled with immaturity and a desire to emulate the lifestyle of a gangster despite being an adult. From the first conversation with Zac, Fatima knew he was mature and responsible, taking his commitments seriously. His demeanor exuded professionalism, and she couldn't help but draw parallels between Zac and her own father. Both were strong, intelligent men who prioritized the well-being of others and went out of theirway to assist when needed. Zac carried himself confidently, exuded kindness, and was always ready to give selflessly. It was clear to Fatima that Zac's grandmother had done an excellent job raising a man she could be proud of.
