Narrator POV:
As soon as Madi makes another turn, the girls finally arrive in Brooklyn. The problem now was finding them.
"Call Chuck," Madi orders, handing her phone to Camila, who quickly takes it and dials his number. It rings until he picks up on the third ring.
"Are you here?"
"Yes, where are you?" After Chuck gives the street name and number, Madi is surprised to see a bar still open with their crew in front.
"Well folks, this is where I live, ta-da," Georgina waves her hands excitedly, and the others look around, seeing the name: Sweet Home Bar.
"Hope the drinks are on the house," Chuck is the first to enter, followed by Georgina and the rest of the group.
"Oh my God, you're bleeding." After Camila's words, Madi realizes she's talking to her and notices a huge bloodstain on her pants.
"Holy shit, Geo, do you have bandages or something?" Hillary asks the brunette, who leads them upstairs in the bar.
"This is my room, it's not very spacious, but it will do." Madi sits on the small sofa there.
Georgina heads to what appears to be a bathroom and returns with a bandage, alcohol, cotton, and gauze.
"You're lucky it was just a graze, why didn't you tell anyone?" Hillary asks while wetting the cotton with alcohol.
"In the heat of the moment, I didn't even notice. Now it's starting to hurt a bit." The brunette replies while pulling her pants down to her knees, under Camila's watchful eyes.
"Stop being a pervert, girl," Georgina laughs at the Latina, who makes a face at her.
"If it hurts now, imagine when the alcohol hits." Hillary speaks to scare her friend, who rolls her eyes watching her actions.
After cleaning and bandaging the wound, the four girls head back to the bar, which seems to be in full swing.
"Look who it is, the girls who managed to escape New York's most feared cop," the crowd in the bar shouts in unison.
"Montuay!" Georgina yells excitedly and runs towards the older man.
"Girls, this is Montuay, my father-in-law." The girls greet the older man and notice a tall, handsome, Black guy approaching.
"And this is my boyfriend, Kevin." The guy smiles at the girls and kisses his girlfriend, holding her by the neck.
"Looks like you two have a lot to talk about," Montuay says to them, and they quickly bid farewell to the former inmates and head upstairs.
"I'm going to talk to Chuck," Madi tells her friends and heads toward her brother, who is talking to a Japanese girl.
"Are we staying here tonight? Or are we leaving?" Chuck dismisses the girl he was talking to and downs a shot of pure vodka.
"It's better to stay here and leave in the morning. New York cops must be looking for us." Chuck hands a shot to his sister, who takes it gladly. "Is there space for us to sleep here?"
"Montuay said where three eat, seven can too." Hillary responds for Madi and takes her drink, downing it in one go and handing the empty glass back.
"Papi sabe que vinieron a buscarme?" (Daddy knows they came to get me?) Madi speaks in Spanish so no one knows what they're talking about.
"Madi, Bart estaba de viaje el día que la policía te atrapó." (Bart was traveling the day the police caught you.) The girl sighs.
"Necesito hablar con él a solas, si me disculpan." (I need to talk to him alone, if you'll excuse me.) Hillary nods and the siblings go outside to talk.
