Music for this chapter:Suzanna Son Bye Bye Bye.

Madison POV:

I wake up earlier than usual; I've arranged to meet Carla to talk. I want to get some information about Teo. The sooner I resolve this issue with the police, the sooner I'll be free. I descend the stairs slowly, until I hear Chuck calling me.

"Where are you going so early?" The guy crosses his arms and looks at me with suspicion.

"I'm going after information on Teo." I see Hillary behind him and understand everything: she must have woken him up to interfere with me.

"What's the problem? She's his daughter, and besides, I'm over it."

"Then let me come with you, Madi. I thought your brother would knock some sense into you, but you're so eager to go after her." Hillary descends the stairs as well.

"It's better if you don't. With too many people, she won't want to talk. I know Carla." Hillary rolls her eyes.

"You know so well that, thanks to a bartender, you discovered you were being cheated on."

"Go screw yourself." I ignore their calls and open the door, heading towards my car.

My relationship with Carla was a bit tumultuous. We met through our parents, who had always been close. Teo thought Chuck was going to ask for his daughter's hand, as she never left home. Little did he know she never left my room.

Carla was my first kiss, my first time, my first and only girlfriend, the first I loved and the only one until now.

The others were just flings, hookups. With Carla, it was different; I thought she loved me too, until that day:

Flashback POV:

There was a party at the Bass mansion, but not just any party: it was Madison Bass's party.

"Where's Carla? She should have arrived by now." Andi asks, wrapping her arms around Hillary, who turns and kisses the girl.

"I'm trying to call her, but she's not answering." I show my phone to the two of them, who stop their affection.

"She's probably picking the best lingerie." Hillary says, laughing. I roll my eyes and join them in the laughter until my phone rings.

"Is it her?" Andi tries to see the screen, curious.

"Yes, just a moment." I step aside since the music is too loud and put the phone to my ear.

"Love, love, stop! Give me back the phone." I hear Carla say these words, laughing, and I become confused.

"Hello, this was the emergency number on the girl's phone. Could you please pick her up? She's very drunk, and we're closing."

"Yes, of course. What's the address?"

"Hey, wait a minute, birthday girl. Where are you going?" George stops me in my tracks.

"Carla needs me. I'm going to get her."

Arriving at the address, I see Carla on the floor with a bottle of champagne, singing some song in Spanish that I can't quite understand. I look at the bar and see an Arab man approaching me.

"Are you the girl on the phone?"

"Yes, I'm here to pick her up."

"She was with two guys who were almost having sex with her at the table. After they left, she started dancing with her dress almost falling off. Good thing there weren't many people around." I look at him in shock but try to hold my emotions. He couldn't be serious.
