You stood in front of the mirror tying your tie, letting out a heavy sigh as the past few days had been really rough for you. Every time you thought about your grandmother you would get emotional thinking about all the moments you've had together throughout your whole life, and now the woman who had watched you turn from a clueless child into a mature adult, was gone and today you would say your final goodbye to her.

Jenna walked over behind you and gently placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. You took a deep, shaky breath and felt a sense of reassurance from Jenna's presence. You turned around and gave her a small smile, which she returned.

Y/n: "Do I look presentable?"

Jenna: "You look more then presentable love, you look gorgeous"

Jenna reached up and gently fixed your shirts collar, smoothing it out before placing a gentle kiss on your lips.

Jenna: "Are  you ready to get going?"

Y/n: "Yeah I guess so"

Jenna: "It'll be okay love I'm by your side, every step of the way"

Y/n: "Thank you"

Jenna: "No need to thank me"

You gave her a loving smile before taking her hand and leaving the house, getting into your  car. You started the car and began driving to the funeral home. During the drive, you couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions, your hand shook slightly as you gripped the steering wheel tightly. Jenna noticed this and reached over, gently placing her hand on your knee squeezing it comforting.

You glanced over at her and gave her a grateful look, feeling slightly more calm with Jenna by your side. After a few minutes, you arrived at the funeral home and parked the car. Taking a deep breath, you mentally prepared yourself for what was to come.

You and Jenna got out of the car and made your  way inside. As you walked inside, you were met with a sea of people dressed in black, all offering their condolences to you and your family. You made your way to the front of the room where the casket lay, adorned with flowers and memories of your grandmother. You felt a lump form in your throat as you laid your eyes on the casket, your heart filled with an overwhelming sense of sadness. Jenna placed a supportive hand on your back, standing by your side.
.......
As the service began, the priest read a beautiful eulogy about your grandmother, highlighting her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. As he spoke, you couldn't help but reminisce about your grandmother and the memories you shared. After the eulogy, family members were each given the opportunity to step up and say a few words about your grandmother with you being the last. As you approached the podium, your heart beats racing in your chest. You took a deep breath and began to speak.

Y/n: "My grandmother was the epitome of kindness, warmth, and unconditional love. Growing up, she was always there for me, supporting me through my good times and bad times. Her presence was a constant source of happiness and peace in my life, and I feel lucky to have had her as a role model and mentor. She taught me valuable lessons that I will carry with me forever, including the importance of family, compassion, and forgiveness. I feel grateful for the time we had together, and I hope to honor her memory by living a life infused with the same love and positivity that she brought to me and so many others. I'm going to miss her every single moment of every single day. She was my rock, my pillar of strength, and my biggest fan. I'm going to miss her bright smile and her loving embrace and even though she's gone physically, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her. She left behind a legacy of kindness, love, and compassion that will never be forgotten. I will forever cherish the memories we shared and the lessons she taught me. I love you and I miss you grandma"
