Jake, is a first year college student who just moved in a new college with his best friend Sunoo.

Jake is quite and shy to make new friends in the other hand Sunoo who is getting quite popular among second year students for his bright and cheerful personality.

There are two popular boys from the second year, Heeseung and Sunghoon. Heeseung is grumpy and smart & his friend Sunghoon is introvert, quite & smart. They are both smart in studies.

As the new school year began, the professor in Jake's class announced a science project that would require students to work with an upperclassman of the 2nd year. Jake groaned inwardly, knowing that he would have to partner up with someone he didn't know.

But as the professor continued explaining the project, she announced that the second year students would be the ones assisting them.

Their class ends and they both headed to the cafeteria to have lunch.

(In the cafeteria)

Jake let out a deep sigh. "Ugh, today's been so exhausting," he said to his friend Sunoo, sitting beside him.

Sunoo chuckled and nudged Jake. "It's our first day! You're such a drama queen" he said teasingly.

Jake rolled his eyes. "And what about the project they load us with on our first day?

"Yeah, you've got a point" he agreed.
"But it's still our first day! We should be enjoying it.

Jake rolled his eyes again. "Enjoying my ass. We have to work with upperclassman of second year and i don't even know anyone here." he pouted.

As Sunoo knows about 2 popular boys in second year, he suggest
Jake to make project with them as they both are smart in studies.

"Well, I know someone who can help us." Sunoo added.

Jake raised an eyebrow, playfully accusing Sunoo."You made friends on the first day? You traitor."

Sunoo chuckled. "Hey, it's not my fault if people like me."

Jake leaned in closer with curiosity.
"So who's this person who can help us?

Sunoo looked around, making sure no one was listening them, "It's Heeseung." he whispered.

Jake's eyes widened in surprise. "Heesung? The grumpy smart guy?"

Sunoo nodded, trying to hide an amused smile. "Yeah, I know he can be a bit... intense, but he's an ace in science."

Jake tilted his head, "Really? And who will you be working with?" he added.

Sunoo coughed, "His friend, Sunghoon." He quickly busied himself with his food.

Jake raised an eyebrow, "Sunghoon? Isn't he also known for being smart?"

Sunoo nodded while chewing his food."Yep, and just as icy as Heesung."

Jake felt a pang of uncertainty. "Great, so we're stuck with the grumpy duo, huh?"

Sunoo laughed covering his mouth,
and they both started eating.
