[In the cafeteria]

"What happened yesterday? Why are you in a bad mood?" sunghoon ask as he places his hand on heeseung's shoulder.

Heeseung spoke up, his voice tinged with disappointment. "Jake doesn't like me that way. He made it clear that he's straight. I don't want to ruin our friendship by confessing my feelings... it's better this way, I guess."

"Maybe he said those things just to make you jealous? What if he was trying to make you feel something and get a reaction out of you?"

"There's a possibility he keeps asking about your friendship with noona is because he's secretly jealous, and wants you to spend time with him instead"

"I don't know, Sunghoon. Why would Jake be jealous? He's straight, and he made it clear..he'll not except me as a boy." he replied.

Sunghoon sighed. "Heeseung, but you'll never know unless you try. Maybe you could start by dropping some hints and see how he responds."

"Hints? How?" he asked.

"Huh? What do you think am i a dating coach? I don't know either, find out yourself what to do now.." he replied.

Heeseung gave him a pissed glare. "Great advice, Sunghoon. Thanks a lot, very helpful."

Sunghoon shrugged, a smirk on his face. "Hey, I gave you an idea! It's not my fault if you're too clueless to figure out what to do."

As they were making life decisions,
Jake and Sunoo entered the cafeteria and Sunoo made his way to the table where Sunghoon and Heeseung were sitting.

Sunghoon's cheeks flushed with a light blush, a smile breaking out across his face as he saw sunoo suddenly.

Heeseung's gaze met Jake's for a moment, and there was a silent exchange of unspoken words between them.

Sunoo turned to Heeseung, asked with curiosity. "Hii, what happened to you yesterday? You just left so suddenly."

"Uhh..because..."

Sunghoon speaks up, interrupting him. "Ah, about that, She's actually my cousin. So, I had to ask him to bring her soon." he explained.

Sunoo's eyes widened as he connected the dots. "Wait, is she your sister?"

Sunghoon nodded. Meanwhile, Jake, who had been quietly listening to the conversation, suddenly realised that she is Sunghoon's sister. A mix of surprise and realization washed over his face.

He turned his gaze towards Heeseung, as heeseung tried to maintain a neutral expression, ignoring the pounding in his chest.

Just then, Seolhee entered the cafeteria, sunghoon noticed her and gestured for her to join them. "Hey noona, come join us!"

Seolhee smiled warmly and made her way over to the table, taking a seat next to Heeseung. He managed a small smile, still feeling a bit awkward and self-conscious knowing that Jake was sitting nearby.

"Hoonie, how are you my sweet bro." she said with a smile.

"Stop calling me that, atleast stop it here."

"Aww, your nickname is hoonie? Haha, that's cutee" sunoo laughed while teasing sunghoon.

"Stop it you little fox." Sunghoon couldn't help but feeling embarrassed and eating his lunch quietly, Jake chuckled while sunoo and seolhee still laughing at his response.

He looked over at Heeseung, who was still sitting quietly, barely contributing to the conversation. There was a hint of concern in Jake's eyes as he observed him.

He leaned in, speaking in a low whisper so only Heeseung could hear. "Hey, are you alright?"

Heeseung's eyes snapped to Jake's face, his heart skipping a beat at the sound of his voice. "Y-yeah, I'm fine, just feeling a bit tired, that's all."

He leaned in a bit closer, his voice dropping even lower. "You sure? You've been acting strange all day."

Heeseung's pulse quickened as he saw him this close to him. It was hard to focus when Jake was so near.

He speaks, trying to keep his voice steady. "I'm telling you, I'm fine, just didn't sleep well last night, that's all."

Jake furrowed his brow, he could tell that something was bothering him, but Heeseung is being stubborn about denying it. "You know you can talk to me." Jake said softly, his voice gentle. "If something's bothering you, you can tell me."

Heeseung looks at jake in his eyes, he wanted to tell him everything, to pour out his heart and his feelings. But the fear of ruining their friendship held him back.

"I told you, I'm fine, don't worry about it." he said softly.

Suddenly Jake got a call and he took out his phone, it was Ren.
He picked up and talked to him, after some minutes he cut the call.

"Who was on the call?" heeseung asked.

"Oh, it was Ren. He forgot to bring his undergarments, so he asked me to get some for him."

Heeseung's face dropped as he heard that. The thought of Jake living with someone else, especially Ren, made him envious and angry.

He tried to hide his feelings, trying to act natural. Jake noticed Heeseung's tense demeanor and looked over at him, "Heeseung! You okay?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Heeseung forced a smile, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit tired."

"No, I'm not fine.Why did you allow him to stay at your place??"  he was burning inwardly but his face was expressionless. His jealousy flaring up at the thought of them living together.

Seolhee turned to Heeseung, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Hey, Heeseung, if you're free today, wanna go and watch a movie together?"

Sunoo heard the invitation and interrupted with an excitement. "Oh, can I come too? I love watching movies!"

Sunghoon widened his eyes and quickly chimed in. "Whoa, no, no, no. You guys go ahead. Me and Sunoo have some work to do. We're busy today."

"Huh? What work? But I'm free today." he asked, his voice laced with disappointment.

But before he could protest any further, Sunghoon grabbed Sunoo's hand and steered him out of the cafeteria, wrapping his arm around Sunoo's shoulder in a firm hold.

Sunoo stumbled a little, feeling confused and shocked by the sudden move.

Heeseung, Seolhee and Jake watched as Sunghoon dragged Sunoo away, their eyes following the pair as they exited from there.

Seolhee chuckled at the scene, shaking her head in amusement. "Looks like Sunghoon had other plans for Sunoo."

"That- that was unexpected," jake said, aukwardly smiling.

Seolhee turned to Jake, a hopeful look in her eyes. "What about you, Jake? Wanna come with us?"

Heeseung looked at Jake intently, as he waited for his answer. But Jake stood up and replied, "You guys go and enjoy, I need to head home. Ren is all alone there."

Heeseung's heart sank, his face falling at the mention of Ren's name. He bit his lip to hide his disappointment, but the irritation and frustration welled up inside him once again.

As jake walked away, seolhee nodded, she ask heeseung. "Shall we go then?"

He agreed and they left the cafeteria together, heading towards the parking lot. They both sat in the car, and heeseung starts the engine.
