Alice POV

Unang araw pa lang ng Senate hearing sobrang kabado ko na. Lalo na't alam kong maraming pending questions na gusto nilang masagot ko. The moment I sat down I couldn't take my eyes off a particular Senator.

Her name was Senator Risa Hontiveros, I've heard of her many times sa socmed, sometimes I'd just ignore them and scroll but often times I'd really admire this woman the way she contributes to her country really speaks its volumes. And to see her face-to-face right now got me feeling giddy.

I was too distracted staring at her, admiring her every move the way she fixes her hair, the way she purses her lips, the way she spoke- spoke? Hala kausap nya nga pala ak-

"Mayor Guo? May kausap pa ba ako? Or are you gonna keep staring at me this whole Senate hearing?"

Says Senator Risa Hontiveros, the Senator I've been drooling over for the last 20 minutes. I didn't even hear her goddamn question because my mind was somewhere else.

"Uhm, I'm sorry po madam Senator. Hindi ko po sinadya." jusko lamunin na lang sana ako ng lupa parang awa nyo na..

"Ano po ulit yung tanong?"

"Sa susunod sana makipag cooperate ka ng maayos. Don't get distracted for god's sake." she says sternly.

"I asked you if you remember your Mother's name."

"Yes po your honor. Uhm.. pangalan nya po ay Amelia Leal Guo." kinabahan ako dun ah.

"Okay." the Senator responded before going back to checking her papers.

*Short Break*

I breathe a sigh of relief. After all I need to take this short break for granted, mas marami pa itatanong sa akin mamaya. I know better next time, huwag sana ako lamunin ng kabadingan at umayos na ako. Nakakahiya naman kanina pag ffiestahan ng socmed yan. I thought as I finished eating the food they provided us.

Risa POV

This woman is really something else. I could see through her like transparent glass. I know the way she looks at me in awe often.

Akala niya siguro hindi ko napansin. I'm really astonished, andami kong gustong itanong sakanya kainis when is this hearing gonna end? Nilalamon na ako ng pagod.

After 4 hours natapos na rin ang Senate hearing. Finally gosh nakaka stress naman kausapin tong Mayor na 'to. Pero I'm not gonna lie, after what happened earlier I'm still in disbelief. Ganon ba talaga tingin nya sa lahat? O sa akin lang? Lakas ng charisma mo Mayora ah.

On my way to my car guess who I bumped into.

"Mayor Alice. How fancy bumping into you here." Lumalakas amats ko ngayon hayst

"Hello po madam Senator. May kailangan po ba kayo?" she says in her soft innocent tone. Oh come on! Don't play dumb with me.

"Mhm maybe.." anong trip ko? "about earlier.. wha-"

I didn't get to finish because the last thing I saw was her getting closer and closing the gap between us. Gosh she was kissing me with so much intensity that I could feel the heat all over my body.
