It's been a week since the Senate hearing, I haven't heard any news from Mayor Alice Guo...not that I care I'm just kind of curious how she's doing now and what she's up to. Social media absolutely tore her up. I know I shouldn't feel bad for her, but somehow there's this feeling I get every time I hear her name being mentioned.

Was it guilt? Was it pain? Her name definitely spells out pain. I know that I can't show any remorse to her in any way but...what if she's my only exception?

Today, I got invited to a very special event. I brought Leni as my plus one so that I wouldn't feel out of place. She agreed to go with me, as if she has any choice kung hindi pipilitin ko talaga yan. But something feels off.

I feel like she's hiding something from me, pagsakay pa lang namin ng sasakyan tanong na siya na tanong kung sure ako..sinabihan nya din ako na kalmahan ko lang baka hindi ko siya makasabay pauwi..

What is she talking about? Anyways.. when we got there the place was already crowded filled with familiar political faces. Tsk tsk. Leni dragged me to a group of people I didn't recognize at first - it was Loren, Kiko and Gatchalian. We all gathered near the table and ate the food they served. After eating nag chikahan lang naman kami ng kung ano until Loren brought up that someone...

"uy himala pumayag ka na umattend sa event na to" she tells me while giggling. Huh?

"ha? Bakit naman ako tatanggi??" my voice was filled with genuine concern.

She stared at me for a whole minute trying to figure out if I was being sarcastic or not. When she realized how serious my tone sounded her face turned pale white.

"Hindi ka nila ininform na aattend din yung mayor Alice Guo?!"

she yelled out, a small group of people looked into our direction.

My heart stopped after hearing that name. Before I had time to respond Kiko cut me off.

"Shh! Marinig ka niya sige!" Kiko whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"Oo nga" Leni and Gatchalian said in unison

I let out an annoying sigh.

"ALAM NIYONG LAHAT PERO HINDI NIYO SINABI SA AKIN?!" I sighed out angrily and they all went silent.

Great! this is gonna be a long night trying to avoid being seen by her...

I stood in an empty corner taking a sip of whiskey that Leni handed to me earlier. Pampa kalma daw ng nerves.

I drank it sip by sip and my mind was slowly getting hazy. I saw a figure of a woman with long hair and glasses, I had to double check just to make sure and I almost hid behind a bush like a creep but I had self control and prayed to Jesus that she won't see me in the corner in front of her. Lord, guide me.

Teka..something's different from her expressions, she looks stressed and fed up. Just then I realized that a man was talking to her and keeps on touching her shoulder when she clearly seems uncomfy.

Hell no I'm not letting that happen! The alcohol I've just consumed was giving me confidence and I approached them almost tripping on the way. The mans face was getting more clearer and my blood started boiling when I realized who it was. Tsk.
