"... So? What else did you need?" you asked the countess as she sat down in her chair.
"So tell me... why are you so close with that maiden?" she asked, her golden eyes piercing through you.
"She is just an annoyance to me, it's not like I want to be near her." you said, rolling your eyes.
Lady Dimitrescu picked up her cigar and lit it. "An annoyance?! The same 'annoyance' that you held hands with?" she accused you.
Now that you're put into this position you're stuck. You have no idea what to say or do in this situation. "I didn't hold her hand." you said firmly.
"Don't act like im stupid, I saw her holding your hand!" she seethed.
"Exactly she was holding my hand, not the other way around..." you muttered
"And what difference does that make, it still happened!" her voice raised as she took a quick drag from her cigarette.
"What!? But-" you were cut off by the lady herself.
"You are dismissed, I need not to hear any more of your excuses..." while she said, pushing you out of the room.
As the door closed behind you, you cursed to yourself. "This is why I shouldn't have hung out with that hoe." you mumbled then started to head back to you room but of course you had to run into that clingy rat.
"I was hanging out by the door waiting for you~" said Serena, you then gagged slightly at her tone of voice.
"You know i can't believe how that weird girl dragged you out of our conversation that wasn't finished right??"
"Weird girl?!? That was one of the daughters of the countess!" you exclaimed.
"Well whatever, I don't need to know that much about her anyway" Serena rolled her eyes at you.
"Well I need to go..." You tried getting out of the conversion again because you didn't want to get in trouble with the countess again.
"What!?? But we didn't even get to finish our date!" said Serena bitterly
"Date!?! We were not on a date! Ugh.. I have to go..." you stormed off back into your room locking the door behind you.
(POV: Lady Dimitrescu, After Y/n stormed off into her room.)
"Bela!" the countess called out to her daughter. Not long later buzzing could be heard approaching, soon a swarm of bugs flew into the room and formed into Bela.
"Yes mother?" she asked quickly.
"Bela, can you get Cassandra as well before we start talking?" Lady Dimitrescu asked her.
Bela quickly agreed and swarmed away to get Cassandra. And soon she came back.
"So mother... What did you need from us and why only me and Bela?" Cassandra asked.
"Because... she is not fit for what i need you two to do... I need you both to keep an eye on Y/n and that new maiden... if they do anything-" the countess cleared her throat, cutting herself off. "I mean... just make sure they do get up to any shenanigans..." she waved her hand dismissing them.
"Yes mother." they both said at the same time and they exited the room.
(The next day in Y/n's POV)
You started doing your usual morning routine and heard someone knocking on the door. You quickly finish getting ready, and rush to greet the person at the door. You open the door looking up to she one of the sisters at your door
"Hey Y/n! I haven't seen you in a hot minute, and I'm kinda bored.." Daniela clasps her hands together. "I was wondering if you could hang out with me??"
"Uhm.. you know i have work right?" you asked her.
"Ugh... I'll just get mother to dismiss you from your duties. But anyways let's go!" she said, grabbing your wrist and dragging you out of your room to the opera hall. "So Y/n, do you know how to play piano?"
"N-"
"Dont care, you gonna play it for me." Daniela cut you off giggling
"Uhmm..." you hesitated while sitting down at the piano. Suddenly the doors of the room opened and you saw Serena who seemed to be looking for you. You try to hide your face quickly hoping she wouldn't see you.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you acting like that?" Daniela asked.
"It's because of the new maid she keeps on clinging to me, and by doing so she got me in trouble with the countess..." you said quietly trying to avoid Serena's gaze.
"Ohhhh... it's like a book that I read... it was a romance novel of course!" Daniela giggled.
"This is not funny!" you exclaimed softly.
"Y/n? Is that you?" a voice piped up, you turned to see Serena.
'Oh my god, how did she notice me?' you thought.
"Y/n is that one of the sisters you were talking about earlier?" Serena said, seeming confused.
"Erm... yes... y'know I'm working right now so could you like... go away?" you asked
"But why?!Y'know, working together makes things go faster..." she said annoyed
Serena sat down next to you at the piano and Daniela giggled waiting to see what would happen between you too. You side eyed Daniela then started to explain what she was doing.
"Oh you can't play the piano? Heh, well I can, watch this-" Serena then started playing moonlight sonata on the piano perfectly.
You scoffed and rolled your eyes at Serena "show off much?" you muttered under your breath
"Sorry, what was that I couldn't hear you..." Serena asked you.
"It was nothing..." you stated with an annoyed tone before leaving the room after Daniela said you could leave.
'God I wish she would just leave me alone...' you thought as you went back into your room.
(this is a bit of foreshadowing... so this part will be somewhere in Part 2)
"Hey ( )... there's something I want to tell you." the person said trying to appear serious
"Yeah what is it?" they asked.
