The Truth...

You sighed as everyone left then suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder you looked up to see the countess.

"Is everything alright draga mea?" She asked slightly concerned.

"Yeah... I'm fine... Just a little stressed.." you mumbled.

The countess hummed before sitting on the couch "come here darling." She said patting her thigh.

You blushed and went to straddle her thigh. "What is it?" You asked.

Alcina just hummed in and stroked your hair "you just need a little pampering dear" she smiled softly and kissed your cheek.

You flustered more not noticing the noise of a door opening.

Ingrid and some other maid entered the living room with some cleaning supplies. The maiden gasped in shock.

You quickly realized that someone else was in the room and scrambled off of the countess in embarrassment.

Ingrid looked shocked but quickly composed herself, Alcina seemed a bit annoyed at the intrusion.

"Sorry my lady... Didn't mean to interrupt." Ingrid said grabbing the wrist of the other maiden and dragging her out of the room.

Before the doors closed the girl looked at you seeming disgusted. You seethed wanting to punch that look off her face.

You huffed as the doors closed before facing the countess again. Honestly you only wanted people not to know because you thought Alcina would rather keep it a secret.

I mean she does have to keep up appearances right?

The woman stood up and looked at the clock before sighing and bending to your height taking your chin in her hand. "I wish I could stay with you longer dear..." She said then kissed your forehead and stood up.

"Where do you have to be?" You asked.

"I need to do some paper work, Ill see you later" she said before leaving.

You huffed, honestly you wish you had more time to chat with her but she's a busy woman you shouldn't be so selfish.

You left the living room to continue your duties when you were walking through the castle you couldn't ignore the stares the other maidens were giving you.

Disgust, malice, some even show envy... Honestly what was the deal anyway.. there's no way.. you sighed.

Suddenly someone took you by the wrist and pulled you to the side it was Ashley.

"Ashley, what are you doing??" You asked.

"Is it true Y/n?" She asked. "If it is I won't judge or anything" she stated.

"Is what true? What are you talking about??" You huffed.

"The gossip about you willingly being the countesses new pet?" She pondered.

You seethed "I'm NOT her pet." You crossed your arms.

"Then... Are you guys like girlfriends?" She questioned seeming actually confused.

"I.. I mean we haven't really said it out loud or made it official... I guess we're dating kinda" you huffed.

"Well everyone is really freaked out about it... Even though it's really not that deep." She stated. "I think the only ones not freaked are me and Ingrid.."

"I bet that girl who was with her earlier is the one that opened her stupid mouth..." You said in thought.

"Either way I'm sure it'll blow over soon I'll see you later y/n." Ashley waved walking away.

"Yeah..." You trailed off

'hopefully this doesn't cause problems with Alcina id prefer if she didn't know anything about this at all...' you sighed thinking to yourself.

You bit your lip and started heading back to the countesses chambers to clean it.

You went inside and started dusting off everything. A few hours later you finished and right when you exited you saw Ingrid standing there, it seemed as if she were about to knock.

When she saw you she put her hand down. "Y/n..." She bowed to you quickly.

"H-hey- what are you doing!?" You asked her.

"I'm sorry for my words and actions this morning, I did not mean to disrespect you or the countess." She said before liftinger head.

"What are you talking about Ingrid?" You asked seeming confused.

"This morning... When I interrogated you in the hall, I should've not been so suspicious of you... I should've known the situation you were in.." she stated.

"It's not a big deal, you don't have to apologize for that." You huffed "anyways what did you need?"

"I was looking for the countess I assume she's not in here?" She pondered.

You nodded "Alcina said she had some paper work to do... She's probably in her office."

"Alcina?" She asked, seeming puzzled on why you'd call her by name.

"Uh- yeah- that's what I usually call her when no one's around... Not like that matters anymore." You sighed.

"I see, you two must be really close if she lets you call her by name.. anywho I must be on my way." Ingrid said before leaving.

You haven't seen the daughters yet today so you decided to go find them. you headed to the library since Daniela was probably there.
When you entered you noticed a singular maid cleaning the room.

You eyes narrowed... Her.. the one who had to go and run her mouth, you clenched your teeth but decided not to start problems.

You looked around the the library but couldn't find Daniela you huffed and right as you were about to leave.

"Oh my god" someone snickered. "It's the fucking whore."

You seethed and turned around quickly she kinda looked similar to Velvet if you had to guess they are probably sisters.

"I'm Veronica... And you-" she laughed. "Your the whore... So that's what I'll call you whore."

"Who the fuck do you think your talking to?" You narrowed your eyes and crossed your arms.

"Oh? Are you getting mad? Are you gonna have those little mutts kill me hmm? Cus I've heard thats what you do.." she grinded cruley

You checked your fist you were about to beat this bitch up... Mutts!? They are not mutts.

Honestly, killing her yourself would not be a good idea but having people think that you're just using the Dimitrescu as your 'guard dogs' was worse in your opinion at least...
