"Also why are you so tall? Like is it even practical? Or physically possible?"
Walking closer I shamelessly pat down Cassian, as if assessing him raising his arm to see it better.
"You boys are supposed to be able to fly but your bones don't seem hollow! You're too heavy, so unless your muscle mass is scarry big. Your wings aren't weather structured more so bat-like, but that would make it all harder...just how do you even get off the ground?"
He seemed absolutely paralyzed for a moment before he started chuckling at my lack of shame. Rhys and Feyre looked to be having a great time watching the scene along with Roxy but the rest of them were just baffled.
I was too, however not for the same reason. I was baffled because my brain can barely process anything Cassian does let alone him being real and chuckling at me! Like a deep nervous giggled worthy deep chuckle.
"First off quit it you're distracting, second off don't laugh at me I am genuinely confused! It just can't be practical, like I reach your shoulder and that's if you're hunched or I'm almost on my tiptoes."
I had obviously moved to showcase it, almost face planting against his pectorals and wondering how he smelled so nice with all the training and shit.
"Truly it's a drag, I mean you're too easy to tackle!"
I thought my sentence through a bit more after saying it and watching my cousin snort and the man himself raised a brow at me.
"Well, maybe not! Cuz you're basically all muscle mass and bones but height wise yes. Very easy, like I'd barely need to crouch!"
Once again I move to show it, both how little I need to crouch to get his thighs and how my normal crouch would hit his chin bones. I then stand up and take a few steps back under the look of a thoroughly amused warrior I'd just manhandled around.
"It can't possibly be convenient really!"
Having finally stopped my ranting it all came crashing down on me. I was annoying him! Surely I was being an absolute bother some random girl that said she knew them from a book had been ranting for what? 2 or 3 minutes easily. And about what? His height!
This is why one can't meet their heroes or celebrity crushes! Not because they'll disappoint. No definitely not... Cassian was about as good if not ten times better than she could've ever imagined.
The problem with meeting your unreachable crushes is you. Or more like me in this case. I'm the one messing this up, like a nervous wreck! Everything I jokingly said I'd do if I ever met him went out the window the moment I heard him laugh, maybe even earlier when I saw his height compared to mine.
My point is this is a disaster! I want to get along with him not annoy him, I wanna at least be useful enough that they send him to soften me up so that I spill everything.
