Roxanne must've heard me chit chatting proudly because she looked over at me.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Trading secrets!"

I answered back proudly as I watched Cassian genuinely scurry and look around for something to give me and Lucien roll his eyes, he'd had his share of secrets apparently!

My cousin scoffed as she watched Cassian come back with a very VERY large black shirt slipping it over my head before I had a chance to react.

This has me bursting out laughing along with Roxy and I slip my arms into the short sleeves before untying my shredded shirt that's beneath and taking that one off.

"You do know she'd sell her soul for a hug from any of you guys? You've had the upper trading hand all along and just allowed her to give you shitty deals?"

I shrugged loving the big shirt, it was soft but had some sort of snaps that can open on the back. Then it dawned on me, Cassian had gone and brought me one of his shirts?!

"Hush these are good deals they just don't know they could get even better ones. Also thank you Cassian! I said more tea right? What would you like to know about?"

If I ever mentioned how he was adorable or cute before, I take it all back. This man is the incarnation of wicked and mischief runs through his veins! The way his face immediately transformed into a proud and self-assured smirk in only seconds had me double thinking ever making this deal... especially when he spoke.

His voice was deeper as if he found great amusement in all that was happening.

"Maybe it's you that needs to freshen up on your deal making skills tiny beast! You forgot to specify how much and what sort of information I could ask for when you agreed to this. Just a shirt of mine is more that worth all I could currently ask you. Let's start it easy though... Who's your favorite in this so called book series we're all a part off?"

Like I was saying, evil! This man just showed his true colors and they're cunning and teasing.

"This is coercion not deal making! A-and also that's of no use to any of you. I know a crap ton of things about the future or those in this world and you wanna know who's my favorite?! I mean hahaha..."

Yes I am trying to deviate so what?

"We can better get the upper hand on deals like your friend said if we know your weak points so it is important to know who'll most easily get you to obey and who you'll tend to side with. So yeah please do tell me who your favorite fae is, tiny beast!"

I purse my lips wondering if there's any way out for me now, especially because he's caught the attention of the rest of the room with his stupid question.

"...You..."

Now that he was apparently not expecting because the whole smirking and seductive smolder disappeared.
