Lucien's voice is finally loud enough for everyone to notice as he heads for the bar rubbing his temples.
"I'm gonna need something strong if they're staying!"
I'm wondering if there's anyway to convince them to let me try fae wine when a yawn escapes me and the accumulated exhaustion catches up to me. As much as Roxanne seems to come alive at night, so long as you let her sleep till noon, I need my beauty sleep for my well being and others sanity!
"Well I'm gonna need some sleep if you all want to properly interrogate me and not just have me bable about nonsense!"
I hear Roxy's suppressed giggle.
"It's for the sake of all of our sanities to let her rest, I'm telling you."
Of course this earns an offended scoff from me.
"You're being overdramatic I'm not THAT bad! I hope they start bothering YOU with the interrogation instead of me, just so you have to socialize~"
The shocked offended gasp Roxy let out had me snorting to hold back a laugh. The joke wasn't just on the fact that Roxanne tends to barely talk to people unless they gain her trust but also on the ONE time she offered to go out of our room and socialize with our family instead of reading...save to say the moment we set a foot out we had about ten different tasks like freaking Cinderella!
Apparently that memory was clear enough in my mind for Feyre to see and make her laugh along, of course she'd get it.
Rhysand decided I was the childish one of us two and started speaking with Roxy asking more in depth answers as to who we were and how much we knew. Meanwhile I stood there standing like an idiot smiling as I looked at everyone.
This had to be a dream! An absolutely wonderful and mind blowing dream I never wish to wake up from. Admiring everything in awe I stared out the window and the seemingly endless mountains and untouched nature, I was in heaven and I even had Roxy with me.
It was raining heavily outside and yet I still stared, wishing I could just stand out there scream as loud as I could and laugh until it hurts. Maybe just lay close to a window curled up with a book hopefully asking any of the present, except Nesta, about a thousand questions.
Since I was quietly smiling Lucien probably thought I was the most approachable at the moment and walked up to my side looking at me curiously with a glass of some mystery alcohol in hand. So I decided to offer him a deal!
"Can I try it? Whatever it is. I'll tell you a secret for sip! If I like it you'll get more secrets. Deal?"
Apparently I now looked suspicious or maybe Lucien's inability to keep a straight face at my words did because Cassian not so discreetly scooched closer. Now you'll never hear me complain about a man that looks like Cassian moving closer, so I won't either when the actual Cassian somehow exists and moves closer!

Not planned...at all
