I got up the next morning to see Cole and Isaac doing throws with Parker
Parker was running around in her football shirt, the big numbers 19 across the back
I think Cole enjoyed teaching Parker since what happened with his leg
Coe had injured his leg in a game, and he isn't allowed to play football anymore, it really sucked because Dylan now has his number and Dylans also the quarterback of the team, which was Coles position.
It made me mad that Dylan had Cole's number, I don't get why they couldn't give Dylan a number that wasn't taken and I could tell that Cole felt the same
Cole hid his feelings well, I wouldn't tell my opinion to other people either
I walk outside with a smile on my face as I'm greeted by the warm sun on my skin
"Kaia, Kaia come play with us!" Parker yells as she makes eye contact with me
I walk over to where they were standing just as Parker catches the football that Cole threw to her
"Nice catch" I say to Parker, earning a massive smile from her
"Ok now if there a defender on you, you need to stay focused because you're going to create separation" Cole says, taking the ball from Parker
"Get ready" Cole says to me
"Hut!" Cole says as me and Parker run out into the yard, me trying to block her from the ball
"Number 19, was having a heck of a day until rookie Kaia stepped off the bench" Lee says, commentating our every move
"Got to get open P" Cole says to Parker
"Make them fake" he says as he throws the ball in our direction
I jump fall the ball and catch it with ease due to my height advantage over Parker
"Ooh and that was an interception" Isaac says, joining in on Lee's commentating act
By the look on Parkers face you could tell she was disappointed
"Hey, don't worry P you'll kick ass in no type and show them who's boss" I say giving her a side hug
"Thanks Kaia" she says looking up at me a small smile on her lips
"Let's go again" Parker says with more confidence in her voice
"Hey, you guys it's time to hit the shower alright" George says from the deck
We all begin to walk inside, me walking beside Parker
"Hey, that's not the game play face we practised" Cole says, jogging up beside us
"Yea you wanna be like this" I say, pulling multiple funny faces at her
Parker laughs and Cole smirks at me
"Totally, just like Spitfire's doing" Cole grins
"But it was my first-time playing offence, what if I mess up and we lose" Parker says, crossing her arms over her chest
"Hey, it's just like dad says, you can't win until you learn to lose" Cole says crouching in front of Parker
I smile at the way Cole is with Parker, I'm glad she has a brother like him
"And that's what footballs about, learning how to lose then getting back up and winning" I say to Parker
"But if your nervous, which I know you won't be, you'll see me and Kaia in the stands, eating popcorn and cheering you on" Cole says, and I nod in agreement
