Chapter 17: Face the Flames

Megumi's POV

Now my team and I have our last class of the day which is combat and I can tell from Reshin-kun's face that he is determined afterall they are supposed to hand out new records for the class rankings

Megumi: Sayori-chan what do you think your position will be?

Sayori: well...I think it might not be so good because I haven't been training as much

Megumi: h-how about you Reshin-kun...Reshin-kun?

Reshin: huh?-oh yeah I guess there's only one way to find out!

We then stop in front of the combat indoor stadium/training room this is where our combat classes are held

Reshin's POV

We enter the stadium and take our seats and sure enough new records are distributed now I take a look at mine as soon as I get it

Kutosaki: now students now that we have that in order today's combat class will not be what you expect today we will start with duels and first up is Kashi Dami and....

Then an intimidating looking male with red hair and fiery orange eye steps out then
Kutosaki-sensei's eyes start scanning the crowd until they rest on me as everyone else is staring too

Kutosaki: Reshin Inomaki please step into the arena

Megumi: w-what! Kutosaki-sensei wants Reshin-kun to fight against the 2nd strongest in the class

Sayori: don't worry Megumi-chan I'm sure Onee-chan will do just fine...right Keigo-kun?

Keigo(blushing): r-right!

Luna: don't worry kiddo I'm sure you will do just fine...I hope

Reshin:(wow...I'm definitely feeling encouragment mo-L-Luna)

Luna: huh? I'm pretty sure you were just about to call me m-

Reshin:(well L-Luna I have a duel to get to!)

Luna( blocking Reshin out from hearing): he was about to call me mom...that's cute...

In the Arena...

I stare down at Kashi  while he is staring at me with his fiery intense glare

Kashi: another weakling huh this is going to be easy

Reshin: don't you dare mock me! Windspere!

I quickly form a winsphere and throw it toward Kashi's face and he just tilts his head with no effort

Kashi: weak

Then he disappears with a burst of fiery mana and appears infront of me kneeing  my stomach

Kashi: Fiery fist

And with a fist engulfed in flames he gives a hard punch on my face sending me back a few feet with a burnt mark on my cheek

Reshin: grrr Thundershock!

I then zoom at Kashi with speeds he can't comprehend quick enough and land a solid kick to his gut with electricity still sparking  sending him flying into a walk until he gets up looking pissed...really pissed..

Kashi: you think your strong huh! I'm gonna show you that your nothing more than an insect with no mommy or daddy!

Reshin: you BASTARD!!! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!?!?!

Kashi: YOU HEARD RIGHT YA DAMN BUG

then out of rage lightning starts surging from my body my blue pupils  barely visible  and my white hair flowing in the air

Reshin: Thunder shock!!! I then start zooming at Kashi faster than ever until he  shoots a fireball at me knocking me off balance

Reshin: IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!

Kashi: NOT BEFORE I DO!!!

Rinowa: shouldn't we end this fight Kutosaki?

Kutosaki: no... I want to see how much Reshin has improved...afterall I see great potential in him

Ozpin who had just entered to watch just agreed with Kutosaki

Ozpin: I agree I want to see how much they have grown over the past two months...

Kashi: c'mon! I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA FIGHT!!!

he said with a crazed smile...by this time I ws on the floor and just getting up I then run blindly at him until he just blast me with another round of flames taking me back to the ground until I stand up again

Kashi: time to end this you trash! flame spiral!

Than a spiral of flames come out from his hands towards me

Reshin: air-barrier!

Then a dome of air surrounds me blocking the attack for a few seconds until it breaks through

Reshin: ARRRGGHH!!!

I then struggle to stand with all the burns and bruises on my body

Reshin: tornado whirlwind!

Then a small tornado barely the size of my hand comes then disappears...dammit I don't have enough mana

Reshin: I'm gonna put my all into this last attack a spell I've been working on but I don't know if it's perfected

Reshin: modeled after my windsphere...volt orb!

Then a ball of electricity the same size as windsphere I then hold it in my hand and launch myself at him to used at close range until...

Kashi: killer blaze!

Then the grounds erupts with flames breaking most of it while launching me into a wall accidentally dropping voltorb on the ground next to Kashi which made it explode sending electricity and lighting to Kashi who just bocked it with another flame attack I then stand up about to launch myself at Kashi again until I just drop mid run and go unconscious

Sayori: Onee-Chan!!!
