Chapter 7: Eggs bread and milk?

The next day...

Geten's POV

Today is the day Shinobu and I will teach them magic Afterall they are aiming for high places and will participate in the entrance exam for the most prestigious magic school in the region Elite Magic  Academy or E.M.A for short

That will be next year...so just a year of training huh... and it seems Reshin has gotten over what happened yesterday and is using it for motivation

Geten: Reshin! Sayori! get down here it's time for training

And before I can think I see my children I front of me with their weapons ready to train

Geten: honey! Please come over here it's time!

Shinobu: be right there!

As Shinobu came she gave me a peck on the cheek then I kissed her back but on the lips

Reshin: eww dad! Not in front of us!

Shinobu: aww sweetie you won't understand now but when you get a girlfriend you will understand
In fact don't you like that Megumi girl that came to visit you for helping her

Sayori: Onee-chan likes Megumi-chan ara ara~

Reshin(blushing madness): n-no i-i do not s-she i-is just a f-friend

Shinobu: my baby boy is growing up so fast

Geten: anyways all unseriousness aside Sayori depending on you fighting style with your  sainetsus
Your mother will teach water magic

Sayori: yay! I will splash my enemies MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

everyone then laughed really hard

Shinobu: let's go Sayori

Sayori: yes mom

After they left

Geten: anyways...son about what happened yesterday is it sti-

Reshin: don't worry dad I've come to terms with it and that I should just get stronger afterall what kind of future mage king would I be if I just sat and start sulking?

Geten: that's my boy...well I'm gonna teach you wind magic

Reshin: but I thought you only know flame magic...

Geten: yeah but even though I can't use wind magic I understand it.

Reshin: ok dad

Geten: we have just a year let's make it count

A few weeks later...

Reshin's POV

Come on... no matter how hard I try I can't even manage a single spell meanwhile my Lil sis has already learnt like I donno two spells?

Geten: come on your doing it wrong you can't just put your hand out and expect it to work you have to focus on the breeze feel the wind in your surroundings and be one with air

Dad's right I have been rushing things...

Reshin: ok...

I start to actually concentrate but feel a little light headed as I feel by body surrounded by a gentle but firm breeze but before I fall dad Comes and catches me

Reshin: thanks dad

Geten: see your a natural normally it's harder to learn wind then water so don't feel discouraged that your sister learnt water before you could learn wind

Reshin: I-I wasn't discouraged... just thought I wasn't trying hard enough that's all

Geten: yeah sureee... anyways now that you've harnessed your mana for wind magic you will learn the most common but also useful when used right... windsphere but that's for tomorrow for now you need to rest

Reshin: ok dad

The next day...

It's time to finally learn some spells but incase I bring my dekiru with me but as soon as I head downstairs I see a note on the door

Hi son your the only one at home now so could you please head to the market and get some eggs,bread and maybe some milk? Anyways your dad is out in the farm looking for the escaped cows so that mean no milk for now and I'm at the bakery your sister is with me it turns out that she wants to learn how to bake! Anyways bye I'm trusting you with this.

Reshin: I got to help mom with this seems easy enough

Later...

I'm on my way to mom's bakery to give her the eggs,bread and milk
Until I see and explosion ahead of me

Reshin: with I need to check this out!

I run to the area of the explosion to see that same man that tried to take my sister standing next to a burning building that's a few blocks away from the bakery

Reshin: I have to do something!

I run into the burning building and s soon as I Hear crying I run even faster until I start feeling weak from the smoke entering my lungs then I'm met with a young boy with blond hair he looks to be maybe a year younger than me and is the source of the crying

Reshin: hey its ok what's your name?

???: my name*sniffle* i-is Keigo stroke

Reshin: ok come on keigo let's get outta hear

Keigo: ok

I then let him jump on my back while I try and navigate the fire and as soon as I make it out the exit the building explodes then I get  a better look at him he has amber eyes and looks to be around 5'6

Reshin: I'm sorry about your home...

Keigo: it's ok my parents already got out they thought I already escaped so they are probably looking for me

Then as if on cue

Mrs.Soroka: oh keigo! There you are we were worried sick!

Mr.Soroka: yes son  and you should have used your magic to escape..

Keigo: come on dad you know fire and wood don't exactly go well together...

Reshin: cool! You know wood magic!

Keigo: yeah so wanna be friends?

Reshin: yea sure bye! I run past the family and eventually the man that tried to take my sister too I wanted to drop off the eggs and stuff before I get him

And this time I will win!
