Chapter 14: Lightning

Reshin's POV

Reshin: ha..596..ha 597,598,599..ha...600!

I plop to the ground unable to feel my legs...600 push ups it's really not easy...it's already been a few weeks and all of the training is starting to pay-off I mean I  have a six-pack now... but all of the...10 kilometer runs using tree logs as lifting weights...it's really hard and it turns out Kutosaki-sensei is also training my team too! Frosty included but their traing is MUCH more easy than mine like a quarter of my training but it makes sense since I'm kinda the weakest and it feels good to know that team Assassins is cheering us on

Kutosaki: ok now go and punch that boulder until it breaks

Reshin:...you...mean...that Boulder?

I look behind me to see a massive Boulder almost twice my size

Reshin: I'm gonna die...

Kutosaki-sensei: think of this as your final test before learning lightning magic

Reshin: ok

Then the rest of my team comes back from their run and sees me

Sayori: hey Onee-chan

Reshin: hey sis,hey Megumi and Frosty

Frost just Flys around in excitement I can notice that Frosty has grown bigger he's like the size of my head now

Megumi: hi-hi Re-Reshin-ku-kun

I see Megumi is red like tomato paste

Reshin: hey Megumi are you sick your red all over

That's when I notice...I'm not wearing a shirt now I was blushing a storm...Gah! Now she must think I an soo uncool

Reshin: I-I -let me g-go change
I run and put on my shirt that I left on a fallen tree log during  training

Kutosaki: come on kid break the Boulder

Oh yeah...I forgot about that...

Reshin: can I at least use magic

Kutosaki: no

Orcs -Reshin: you can do this Reshin-kun/Onee-chan

Reshin: ok...ok I got this

I reel my fist back and start punching after a few punches I see tiny cracks but it's not enough so I punch harder the cracks get bigger but my knuckles start bleeding

Sayori: I think thats enough Reshin your getting hurt

Megumi: y-yeah Sayori-chan is right

Reshin: don't worry guys I must do this

I keep punching and punching

Reshin: Come on break Dammit!!!

I pull back for one final punch and strike the huge rock with more force than all of the previous blows and the already big Crack spreads to the whole rock then it splits into smaller pieces

Reshin: yes!!!

Kutosaki: good job kid thats enough traing for today come back here tomorrow for me to teach you

Reshin: thank you kutosaki-sensei

Kutosaki: don't fret over it kid

The next day...

Kutosaki: ok just  imagine the sparks in your soul mixing with your mana

Reshin: that's it?

Kutosaki: no that's just to understand the nature of it there is still more practice needed

After an hour...

Kutosaki: now try again

Reshin: ok...ha...ha....Thundershock!!!

Thus time out of the many attempts I see sparks of lightning swirl around my body as I zoom and bounce off of trees faster than I thought I finally stop after bonking my head on a tree with made a huge lump form with blood seeping out of it

Reshin: oowww

Kutosaki: seems that you need more practice...but you did good your a quick learner so your training is over for today go and get yourself to the nurses office so she can heal you and rest

Reshin: thank you sensei

At night...

Sayori: guys guys! They have given us the first records...it shows our rank in the class from strongest to weakest..

Reshin: cool let's take a look

Megumi: yes I would very much like to see

Sayori then hands us our copies

Reshin: hmm let's see

then all of us hug then we decide to sleep early to get a better start for tomorrow
