"Y/N?"  There was a quiet, cautious knock at your door. Hyunjin's voice didn't exactly make it past the headset Seungmin had gifted you, or more accurately, stolen from Jeongin.

He really didn't wanna freak you out, but then he heard a familiar laugh. Obnoxious, and repetitive. He rolled his eyes.

Normally this exact laugh had Hyunjin on the floor rolling, but as of right now, no. Not at all.

"Oh my gosh, you're so good!"

"I try." The laugh was there again.

Hyunjin peaked through to the bedroom a little more, and there it was. Changbin lounging lazily in the corner on your sofa.

Hyunjin couldn't tell if he was purposely ignoring his knocking, or if he actually didn't hear it. But he got his answer when he and Changbin made eye contact. A cocky smirk rested on Changbin's face before he went back to ignoring Hyunjin like he wasn't even there.

"I'm just gonna close the door."

"Sure."

Changbin got up and grabbed the door handle, sizing Hyunjin up. "Need something?"

"Yeah, but it's none of your business. I need to talk to Y/n."

"Guess you'll have to come back later."

Hyunjin huffed, but before he could protest the door was closed on his face. Unbelievable.

He walked back to his room, annoyed. Changbin had undoubtedly been hanging out with you more and more lately, and Hyunjin really wanted to get this painting done. Well, truthfully, he had also started two more and he just wanted to take you up on your offer for having you sit in as a reference. It would also give him a chance to spend some time with you.

Oh well. He'd try again later.

Changbin walked back from the closed door, to where you were seated at your desk, and grabbed the headset off your head.

"Wow, who knew vampires were so musically gifted?"

You turned in your chair to face him.

"Thank you. When you have eternity, you have to pick up some hobbies."

"I suppose..."

There was a comfortable silence as Changbin went back to his seat to write more lyrics and you stretched in your chair.

"Changbin?"

"Mmm?"

You waited just long enough, not wanting to interrupt his lyrical flow. "If everyone really agreed to give me the amulet, that would mean I'd have eternal life. But would I be a vampire?"

Changbin choked on seemingly nothing. The air perhaps? You rushed over to him with your water, unsure if they could have that, but you swear you'd seen them drinking it so you assumed. It would be silly if they couldn't considering blood had water in it.

It took him a bit, but when he was done coughing, he took a sip. And a deep breath.

"Sorry..." You apologized sincerely.

He waved his hands. "No it's ok. Umm, sit."

You did as told.

"Has Chan told you anything more about the cursed promise?"

You shook your head.

Shit. Now Changbin felt like he was sweating despite how cold he always was.

"Uhhh... well fuck."
