Duality

You awoke in the morning with the headphones on the floor next to the bed, and your body absolutely wrapped around the person laying beside you. Opening your eyes, you realized that he was already awake, simply admiring you.

He smiled, his fingers playing in your hair. "Good morning."

He was incredibly handsome for someone waking up first thing in the morning. "Hi." You felt the shyness overtake your mind and body just from the way he was looking at you.

He let you go so you could stretch and wake up, but you almost fell from your bed when the door opened with unfortunate timing.

Jisung cringed and apologized watching as you fumbled. "Sorry! Sorry! I should have knocked. Seungmin?"

"Glad you have eyes and a memory to know who I am. What?"

"What are you..?... You know what, never mind. Chan needs everyone downstairs."

You stood to your feet embarrassed by the situation, trying to smooth out your hair and look somewhat presentable. Your embarrassment grew when your stomach growled obnoxiously. You wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out, but opted for awkward laughter.

"You probably haven't eaten in a while." Seungmin stated.

"Yeah, that's partly why Chan wants everyone downstairs." Jisung added.

You followed behind Jisung and Seungmin and took note of Jisung grabbing your hand the moment Jeongin was in view.

He looked even more beat up than before. And he was especially timid. You couldn't help but feel bad for him. It wasn't his fault you left your room when you weren't supposed to.

"There you are- Seungmin? I was wondering where you went last night."

Jisung cleared his throat, flicking his eyes from Chan, who was speaking, to Jeongin, to try and explain the situation telepathically.

Chan appeared to understand. "Ah. Okay, well I'm glad you're both here. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but we moved our hunt to last night. And it looks like you may have gotten caught in it."

You gulped. Shifting your eyes around the room and noticed hard stares from Hyunjin and Minho. Why did they both still look hungry? And that feeling of being watched intensified. You shifted your eyes to Jisung who had been sneaking glances. He smiled at you softly with reassurance.

"From now on, we'll be more transparent about the situation and make sure that after one of us is done, they'll stay with you for the night for your own safety. Like Seungmin did, apparently."

Everyone looked at Seungmin and he couldn't help but feel completely caught off guard. Sometimes they're brilliant leader couldn't read the room! Why'd he have to call him out like that? Now everyone probably thought he was a pervert. Everyone except you it seemed. You appeared oblivious to the tension rising, especially coming from Felix, and Jeongin.

"Anyway! We need to get you some supplies, did you have a chance to make a list?"

"Oh!" You grabbed your phone out of your pocket. "Sorry no one gave me paper."

Chan smacked his face lightly. "Sorry. My bad." He grabbed the phone and read through the notes. "Okay, we'll go out right away."

"Do you need money?"

Minho chuckled. "Money is the least of our concerns."

Changbin grabbed the phone and read through the notes. "Can we take this with us?"

You nodded. Not like you needed it.

"Okay! Minho, you keep them in-line, Changbin and I will be back soon."
