The Scientists had did it, in September, A mRNA vaccine had been developed for Smallpox. By October the Vaccine was mass rolled out.
The President got the jab to assure everyone it was safe. Jason didn't need it as smallpox can only happen once but he got the Jab anyway.
Social distancing was ended but the Mask was still required on planes just as a precaution.
In November the WHO made this statement :
"After 10 Million deaths around the world, We are pleased to announce the Smallpox pandemic has ended. Everyone should still take precautions against the Variola major Virus. But since the Vaccine has proven itself to be safe and effective. And the percentage of new cases has fallen to 0.5% we are announcing the end of the Pandemic!"
