"NAH, DON'T WANT THAT OR THAT OR THAT, HMM, MAYBE THIS, I WANNA TRY IT."

I guess Togame was right, I changed so much yet so little at the same time. Sitting here on Shishitoren's roof, with a scattering of snacks in front of us, I saw glimpses of our childhood.

I opened a candy pack that had each of its pieces covered with other wrappers inside. I tried one and made a face.

"Too sweet!" So I tossed it to Togame who caught it swiftly.

"This one too, it's too sweet, and this chip tastes too sour." I passed every unwanted snack to Togame, who could eat anything that was set in front of him without a single complaint.

Just like old days, I remembered dragging Togame to ice cream shops, and restaurants and inviting him too when I had a bunch of snacks. Because I hate wasting food but at the same time I was too picky to force myself to finish things I hate. Meanwhile, Togame was a literal food dispenser. That's something that hasn't changed till now.

"Nah, this one too I can tell it's-"

I paused when the realisation hit. I felt my heart twisted when I looked at Togame, whom I had given every one of my unwanted snacks without asking him what he would like too.

"Togame?"

"Hmm?" He was casually sorting all the snacks I gave him from biggest to smallest.

"Choose too."

When Togame began choosing the one he wanted for himself, I tried to hide my surprise but failed miserably.

Togame quietly and accurately sorted everything. He gave me every snack and drink I liked and drew the ones I disliked toward him. Even the ones I hadn't tried out, he observed the packages back and forth then passed me the snacks I knew I would like to try out while he hoarded the ones I wouldn't try out even just by looking at the package. He guessed everything right.

When we were kids I had either dragged Togame to the store or shared my food with him hundreds of times.

And he remembered.

Not just remember.

He was able to judge what I want and not.

His attention shifted to me when he noticed me staring and he grinned.

My heart did a somersault.

"And you said you didn't want me badly." He joked.

"Shut up!" I opened a drink and took a sip.

He rested his arms on his knees and glanced at the Shishitoren's jacket I was wearing.

"Still haven't found anybody to help you yet?"
