(Jericho)

"you still didn't find her?!!" Jessica came to my room very early in the morning "I can't believe it.. it's been almost a week, Jericho.." she looked at herself in the mirror, it's her hobby.

"I told you.. she's very fast and very good.." I lay down at my prince sized bed "even her fellow thieves got no idea who she is.."

"so what's the plan now?? you've searched the whole kingdom.."

"yeah.. we've searched everywhere, alright..me and my men .." I held the black mask and stared at it for a while "..but I've never searched for her alone, yet.."

"huh??.."

I stood up my bed and jumped to my clothes. "I'll be going!" I cheerfully put the mask inside my bag pack.

"w-wait!!!" she lost me.

I'm going to go to the town today, not with my robes, not with my princy clothes, but with a t-shirt and jens. With a bag pack on my back, and a fine cap on my head, I'll disguise myself as a commoner, this time. :)

Walking around town like this, has never been my usual doing. There are many people in our kingdom than I thought. They're everywhere.

"oh gosh!!!" a fine looking woman screamed caused she accidently stepped on my toes. "s-sorry sir!!" she bowed very low.

I think she's a bit too humble. I helped her up. "hehheh.. it's fine.." I smiled at her but turned immediately. I must not let anyone recognize me.

"he-hey..." she called "a-aren't you... prince Jericho IV??.."

Ohh, dear... she recognized.. this is not good..

"n-no!!"

"hahhhahh" she giggled "what are you doing in here, your highness??.."

Since I figured that I got no choice, I gently pulled her to some corner where no one can see us. "look.. madam.. I need you to cooperate with me, just this time.. I need not to be noticed, okay.. I'm here for a secret mission.. it's extremely important.. please don't tell anyone.."

"hahhah.. slow down, sire..." she made a beautiful smile. "okay.. okay.. I won't tell anyone.."

I sighed "good.. thank you.."

She stared at me. Her face looks so nice, she's beautiful. Looking at her, she seems 40 plus years old. She kinda look a lot like someone I've seen before, I just can't remember who.

"my name is Leah, sire" she bowed again "I'm from the Wallow Kingdom... you are so famous in our kingdom, Prince Jericho IV.. it's very nice seeing you in person.."

"w-what brings you here, Madam Leah?.." I suddenly wanted to have a cup of coffee with her and talk about my popularity in her kingdom (hehehh)

"I wanted to search for a job in here.. I, unfortunately, lost my old job in our kingdom.."

Which reminds me.. Wallow Kingdom has slowly become poor because of a great famine in their land.. I need to help this woman..

"won't worry, madam.." I smiled as I put something in her hand "go to the palace and search for the princess named Jessica.. give her this note, with my seal on it.. I'll hire you to become one of our maids in there.. is it okay?"

Her weak face suddenly turned bright. "t-thank you!! Thank you, your highness.."

There is no other greater feeling than helping someone in need. Someday, when I become king, I'll do my best to help everyone in need, not just this woman...
