Day 8 of hiding in the palace.

My wounds are healing slowly every day. I am becoming strong.

*knock *knock

"huh?!!" Jessica stood from her sit "hide!"

I hurried and put myself under her bed.

Someone came in. I saw her feet. "princess.. your father wants you to come with him to the Kilisha Kingdom today.. he's waiting for you at the royal balcony.."

"e-eh?! But where's Jericho??.. I can't leave when he's not in the palace.."

"prince Jericho went to the town early this morning.. the forces that hunts the thieves are searching in there.. he wanted to help.."

"oh.. silly old brother.. okey then.. you can go ahead, Leah.. thank you.."

"have a nice day princess.."

Jericho's not around? And Jessica's gonna leave too? I'll be here alone??

"she's gone.." Jessica told me. She dressed herself and got ready.

For this past 3 days.. we're showing no sign of being close..

"so?.. i'll just stay here?"

"of course.."

"what if someone will come and clean your room and—"

"—just stay in here.." she went to the door "when someone comes then hide.. it's that easy.."

"I have to go"

I sat at the sofa, the place where I sleep. I sighed. When will Red and the others be caught? When will things be normal?

I wondered around the huge room this princess Jessica luxuriously enjoys, for hours.

Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, the door opened!! I fell face down to the floor and crawled to the dressing room. It's a maid!!

"hmmm.. Princess is quit organize of her things.." she started cleaning

I didn't saw her, but her voice sounds so familiar. She's the maid who often comes here, the same one who came just a moment ago. She's troublesome.

"now... laundry.." she went to the place where she must not be. To the dressing room!!

I hide behind Jessica's gowns, doing my very best not to make a single sound. The middle aged maid searched for cloths she must wash.

I accidently stepped on something!!

"huh?." She heard the sound. She turned to my direction!!! "hmm?.."

She curiously wondered her black, sparkling eyes. For a woman with wrinkles, she's a bit too beautiful. I unintentionally stared at her behind the gowns.

Sh—she... she.. she looks s-so...

"Leah!!!" Jericho arrived, making me sigh. "w-what are you going here?!" he quickly held the maid and led her outside. "s-sorry, madam Leah..hehehhh ... it's just.. i..i'm planning to prank Jessica any moment from now.. hehehhh.. I need to do something in her room.."

"oh dear... prince Jericho.. heh.. you should get along well with your sister.."

"ye-yeah.. see you around ^^.. byebye" he locked the door.
