Sarah froze.

Daddy held Sarah in her shoulders and smiled to her. "bless you, my dear.."

My head turned to her and my brows narrowed.

My heart raced fast. Jericho stood speechless, looking at her in confusion too.

"s-sire.." Sarah turned to dad "i-I can't... I can't take the guilt I have in my heart a-anymore.." tears started to flow from her eyes. W-what's happening??

"S-sarah..." I said, having a really bad feeling

"n—no.." she talked to dad. "forgive me to correct you, your highness, but you shouldn't just welcome any stranger to your household that easily.. it made me feel so guilty.."

"w-what do you mean?.."

"I'm not a princess.. I'm not an important person.. I'm not even a commoner, Sire..."

"S-sarah!!" Jericho grabbed her and tried to stop her from speaking one more word.

But Jericho failed. Sarah spoke. "I'm Black, king Jericho Alexander III... I'm the Lady in Black.. the wanted thief!!"
