My heart skipped a beat... I turned to him in shock..

Wh-what did he say?..

"I'll leave you tomorrow.. I got things to settle.." he said "I'll be back the next day.."

I didn't say anything.

He stood and went back to the dining room. "please have a good rest.. I hope you'll get well soon.."

I slept and woke up the next day. I found Mrs Tinna sweeping their backyard. Flenn's not around too.

"c-can I help?.." I showed myself to her

She was surprise. She stared at me for seconds then smiled. "you shouldn't get out of the house, dear.."

"ohh..." I went back inside. That's right. I shouldn't let the gang know that I'm here.

She came in too. "we got food at the dining room.. please feel free to eat, dear.." she went to her room and took something from there. "here you go... some clothes you can wear.. you can also take your bath.." she smile so nicely "please make yourself at home, dear."

I accepted the clothes. I lowered my head. "i-I'm sorry.. last night.."

"it's okay.." she tapped my head again.

"y-you... you knew who I am right?... the prince told you who I am, right?.."

"he didn't.." she answered "and I don't need to know. Jericho just told me that you shouldn't go outside or let yourself be seen. You must be really in danger, dear.. I respect your privacy.."

"w-what?" I was stunned of what she just said. She respects me?..

"Jericho is a good gentleman, dear.. you can trust him.."

Trust?.. respect?.. I want to ask, what are they?.. I don't know them.

I took a bath and made myself comfortable with the brown dress she gave me. I looked at myself in the mirror. I tied my hair in ponytail again, like I always do.

I sat beside Mrs Tinna in the living room.

"hmm.. since we got nothing to do.. let me just show you some of our old pictures.."

"o-okay.."

She took from the cabinet a large photo album.

I looked at it.

"I was Jericho's personal nurse when he was young.. he was such a playful boy who always get into trouble.." she pointed at the picture where Jericho looked was sick. "he got a little sister whom he always makes fun of, back then.. she's Jessica.."

I knew the king had another child, a daughter. But, I've never seen her before in person, just pictures. She's very pretty. I think we're of the same age.

"he plays around the kingdom, which makes his daddy really mad.. he doesn't want his son to be lost or kidnapped anymore after the 8th time."

We turned it. "Jessica grew longer than Jericho when he was 11, but he, of course, surpass her when he turned 16..."

These siblings looked so competitive with each other. I wonder. How does that feels?

"I got married when Jericho was 17, almost five years ago. Thus, I resigned as her nurse."

She pointed at some pictures again. "He was present when Fleen was born...."

t-that's actually so sweet of him.

"he donated a huge cake for Flenn's 1st birthday.."

So sweet indeed..

"he made Jessica sing for Flenn's second birthday.. see?.."

Jessica looked completely forced.

"he sang for the third birthday.. hahahhh.. he was out of tone.."

I could say that too... just by seeing at the guests' faces..

"last year.. he bought Flenn a bike.."

Then, I saw the bike just beside us. "i-it—it-s that it?.."

"yes.. but.. Flenn haven't used that yet.. he still didn't know how.."

"oh really.."
