Santa Prisca

A few days after Mister Twister's attack Batman came to the Cave with our first ever official mission.

"Isla Santa Prisca. This island nation is the primary source of a dangerous and illegal neosteriod, a strength enhancing drug, sold under the street name 'Venom'," he told us while showing us a map of the island.

'What's Bane up to this time?' I wondered.

"Infrared heat signatures indicate their factory is still operating at full capacity, but all shipments of Venom have been inexplicably cut off. That's where this team comes in," he turned to us, explaining our part. "This is a covert, recon mission only," he stressed. "Observe and report. If the Justice League needs to intervene, it will. The plan requires two drop zones."

Robin spoke up, "so who's in charge?"

I looked at him, he's obviously eager to lead and while I was wondering the same thing, right now I don't think he would do the best job.

Batman and RT looked at each other then us. "Work that out between you," was their decision.

We were flying over the Caribbean Sea almost at the island when I finished relaying a mental image of a stealth suit to my ring so it would change my uniform when needed. It let me know when it saved the design. As my suit was made of just energy the Team's new stealth tech isn't compatible with me.

"We're approaching Santa Prisca," Miss Martian told us. I went over the plan one more time in my head just to make sure I had it down spat. "Drop zone A in 30."

Aqualad got up and his seat molded back into the floor as he shifted into his own stealth suit. "Ready," he said simply.

"Putting bioship in camouflage mode."

We dropped Aqualad into the ocean and circled around to give him some time. It didn't take him long to get his part done, "heat and motion sensors are patched. Data's now on a continuous loop. Move in."

As we arrived at the second drop zone the rest of us stood and KF and Robin attached lines to their belts. KF pressed his symbol and his suit shifted into stealth. "How cool is this?" He bragged to Ms. M.

"Very impressive," she responded before changing her own clothes into stealth as well.

"Uh, that works too." He turned to Superboy and said, again, "hey Supey, not too late to put on the new stealth tech."

"No capes. No tights," he crossed his arms. "No offense."

Robin asked me, "you figured out your suit yet?"

I smirked, "finished it just as we got here," and with that my suit changed from normal to a solid black, skin tight, full bodysuit. The symbol of the Blue Lantern Corps appeared in a dark navy over my heart instead of in the center of my chest. A black mask covered my neck, mouth, and nose, and combined with my eye mask. Without my suit's normal glow I would be much harder to find in the dark, especially when I factor in the stealth training Batman put me through a while back.

Robin smiled and gave me a thumbs up. Let's just say I'm glad I thought to include a face mask because having him study me in my new suit is a little more embarrassing than I'd like to admit.

Miss Martian opened a hole in the floor of the bioship and Robin, KF, and I followed her down. As we landed I looked back up to see what was taking Superboy only to find him about to crash on top of us. I quickly used my ring to create an aura around him to lower him down quietly.

When I set him down he gave me a small glare, "I would have been fine without that."

Before I could say anything Robin walked up to him, "you probably would have but creating a seismic event would not have helped us much with the 'covert' part of our mission."
