Superboy and I were working on our bikes in the garage area of the Cave when Sphere rolled up to us. "Jealous much?" Superboy asked as she beeped at him repeatedly. "Alright alright," he said while giving her a pat.

"Ready for school?" M'gann asked as she flew in, followed by her uncle J'onn, Kaldur, Tornado, and, to everyone's surprise, Superman. "I made our lunches," she continued and held one out to Superboy, who was so dumbstruck by Superman's presence that he wasn't paying any attention to her.

"The first day of the scholastic season carries great cultural resonance. We want to wish you both well," J'onn finished.

"I'm surprised that you decided to come too," Superboy said, looking at Superman.

"I guess the talks I've been getting from Batman, Eve, and Canary started to get through-"

"Your very thick skull," I finished earning a glare from one Super and a smirk from the other. "Took you long enough."

"You may want to... change before you depart," Kaldur said, bringing our attention back to the matter at hand.

"Ugh, I spent hours choosing this outfit," M'gann said as she simultaneously shifted into the clothes Artemis and I had helped her decide on after three hours of torturous deliberation over a skirt color. "What do you think? Can M'gann M'orzz pass as an Earth girl now?"

"Well," Kaldur said as I motioned to her currently green skin.

"Just kidding," she said as spun around, shifting her skin tone into that of a young, caucasian girl. "Meet Megan Morse." She turned to Superboy, "what's your new name?"

"My what?"

"Your name," I said. "Like how mine is 'Eve' and his is Kaldur. We can't exactly keep calling you 'Superboy' or 'SB'; especially not at school. People can be dumb but they're rarely stupid."

"I'm going to pretend that makes sense so we can move on."

I crossed my arms and looked away, pouting slightly.

"I chose the name 'John Jones' for myself and suggested 'John Smith' for Red Tornado. You could be a 'John' too."

"Pass," he immediately shot down the idea.

"I gotta admit, that doesn't really seem like him," I spoke up.

"Conner's always been my favorite name," Megan said, and I narrowed my eyes in suspicion as I recognized the name. He shrugged and we took that to mean he agreed.

"A last name will also be required," Kaldur told us.

"Maybe 'Kent'?" Superman suggested to my surprise.

"Oh, in memory of Doctor Fate. The late Kent Nelson."

"Uh, no actually. My secret identity is 'Clark Kent' so I just thought that maybe you'd like it?" he finished uncertainly.

Supe- Conner and Megan looked at him shocked that he'd be so forthcoming about such a big secret, and I have to admit I was surprised too.

"Uh, yeah, sure. I'd like that."

"Well Conner Kent," Megan said as she smirked at him, "time to change your shirt." He just looked at her and put a hand on his symbol. "You don't want to reveal your identity," she said while tapping his chest.

Surprising both of us, he pulled his shirt off right then and there. I looked away but still spotted Megan's blush. "Will this work?" he said, having turned his shirt inside out.

"Works for me," Megan sighed, and they walked away.

"Hold up Conner," I called, having spotted something wrong. "Hold still," I said as he tried to turn and face me. I thought for a moment and said, "gat evomer flesuoy." Smiling as the tag from Conner's shirt detached itself from the seam and shot into my hand. "Don't want people thinking you're hiding something," I explained as I waved the tag around. He nodded in thanks and they left for school. "Whelp, I'd better get going too. Got a full day planned with my landlord's kid." I ignored their inquiring looks and skipped my way to the Zeta-tube.
