As we flew to Philadelphia I decided to join my friends in the bioship to conserve my ring power.

"Hey Bioship," I said as I flew closer to it, "can you let me come in?" I smiled as it hummed in response and opened a hole in its underside. Once I had entered I gave one of the consoles a pat, "good girl." I noticed Robin and Superboy giving me strange looks. "What? Bioship is a sentient being, so it appreciates getting praised," I explained as I took a seat.

"How do you know so much about this stuff?" Superboy asked.

I pointed to my ring, "the ring has a knowledge base that I can access at any time; also I've been to Mars."

Superboy stared at me completely gobsmacked, which amused Robin greatly. "You think that's something? Listen to this: how many languages do you speak?"

I smirked at him, knowing he knew the answer. "I'm fluent in 12 human languages, five alien languages, two dead languages, and Atlantean, for a grand total of fluency in 20 languages with more to come." Glancing at Superboy I nearly burst out laughing at his expression of pure shock.

"Moving on to another subject, you never did tell us how exactly you learned about the Watchtower," Robin pointed out.

My eyes widened and I grew red in embarrassment as I turned away. "It's nothing special; I just saw it once and asked Dad what it was."

"Turn around and look me in the eye while you say that."

I tried to do so but Robin knows I can't look a person in the eye when I lie. 'Never should have told him about that.'

Seeing how I wasn't able to do as he had asked Robin smirked and said, "yeah we're definitely gonna be hearing that story soon." We refocused on the mission when we got to our destination. "Robin to Aqualad," he radioed, "we're over Philadelphia. We've located the Shadow's next target: S.T.A.R. Labs," he said as he looked at a holo-map of the building. "We're too late." We watched the building crumble to rubble and I spotted telltale signs of The Fog's passage. "It's destroyed. Totally destroyed; The Fog decimated it."

"This is bad. S.T.A.R. Labs is bleeding edge science and technology. And now their secrets are in the hands of the enemy." I glanced at Robin and Superboy to see my concern mirrored on their faces.

"What's our next move?" Robin asked.

"Rescan for that Fog. Find it. We're moving the Doctor." We didn't have to wait long for our commands, "remain on standby until The Fog is found again. Then do everything you can to stop it."

"Roger that. Blue Lantern out."

Superboy sat back and crossed his arms, "and now we wait."

It didn't take long for Doc's algorithm to find The Fog again, only this time we were actually able to follow the vehicle the Shadows were using as a cover.

"Hey Rob? Anything around here that could draw the Shadows' interest?"

He studied his holomap for a moment, "no, nothing except for...." His face grew noticeably paler.

"What?"

"A Waynetech facility." I could feel the blood draining from my face as I realized what that meant. "In theory its systems software could be used to hack the...."

"The what?" Superboy asked.

"That doesn't matter right now. What does is that Waynetech operates with a 24/7 workforce. Even if we started evacuating right now we'd never finish in time, and I can't help an evacuation if I'm holding up The Fog."

"I thought you were good at multitasking," Superboy said.

"I am, but only with small things, two things this big are way beyond my abilities right now," I explained as I opened the rear hatch.

"Stop arguing, the virus is downloading to my gauntlet. I just need to connect to something The Fog has started eating."

Superboy looked out to see Professor Ojo preparing to release The Fog on the Waynetech building. "Don't need it," he said before jumping out of the bioship.

"Superboy," we shouted, only to see him get blasted by Ojo's beam and crash into the ground.

Ojo quickly released The Fog and I flew down to intercept it as Robin made for the facility. I did my best to catch all of the nanobots in various bubbles, but the amount of them, coupled with how quickly they could move and spread made completing my task near impossible.

I chased The Fog around, ignoring the security guard, struggling to contain what I could until Robin called me over the comms, "I'm in the mainframe. Let it loose!"

"Ok. Here goes nothing," I mumbled to myself, before dissolving my bubbles nearby a computer. I watched as The Fog started eating the device before turning red and dropping to the floor. I sighed and would have collapsed if Robin hadn't appeared and caught me. "Thanks Birdie. Guess the tension released all at once."

He smiled and sung my arm over his shoulder to help me get back to the bioship. I could just barely hear him whisper, "for you, always." I blushed a little but smiled contently as we walked.

Once we had met back at the Cave and been debriefed I motioned to Artemis to follow me.

"So what really happened on your end Artie?" I asked once we were out of earshot of the others.

"I saw who Cheshire is."

I glanced at her, waiting for her to continue.

"It's Jade, Eve. Cheshire is Jade."

To say I was shocked would be an understatement, "but that makes her a Shadow, and Sportsmaster works with the Shadows, and there's no way Jade would ever work with her dad." Looking back at Artemis I noticed she had something else on her mind. "What is it?"

"... she asked about you; if you were doing ok. She said she flaked out on being a proper big sister to me, and that I should be what she wasn't to you."

"And?" I pressed.

"And I said that I would." She gave me a smile that I easy returned as she pulled me into a tight hug.

Separating, I glanced over her shoulder to see Robin waiting for me with a small smile of his own. I waved bye to Artie and walked up to him. "What's with the smile?"

He shrugged, "just happy that you could reunite with someone you care about." He took my hand and we walked to the Zeta-tubes to head home.

Recognized: Robin B-01, Blue Lantern B-02.

Once in the Batcave proper I made my way to the Manor for a late night snack while my superhero friend and teammate Robin changed back into my best friend and crush Dick Grayson.

I had just sat down with my plate of nachos when Dick walked into the kitchen. Glancing at my snack he smirked and started making some popcorn. "Movie night?" He asked.

I thought for a moment before nodding, "movie night," and made my way to the theater. He joined me minutes later with his popcorn to find my movie selection, mostly cartoons, lying on the table. "Your choice," I told him as I settled into the couch.

He looked through my selection and picked out 'Spirit' before settling in next to me and pulling a blanket over us. I snuggled into him and smiled contently as the movie started.

Wow, ok so before anyone says anything: yes this one is shorter than normal but that was because this episode was focused more on Artemis in the show so Robin, and by extension, Eve didn't get a lot of screen time this time. I will be touching on how Eve learned of the Watchtower at a later date. Comment on errors and let me know what you think. BBFN!
