Chapter one

Hello to any reader who came to read this story! First, thank you! and second, English is my second language even if I can speak fluently. So if there's any mistake, just let me know and I'll correct it! I also want to warn that it's my first story that I published, and I'm learning how to write properly, so no hate about it! I know 10 chapter is no very long for a story but I tried to have at least 3000 words per chapter exept 2 (I couldn't manage to find a solution so I leaved it like this lmao)

reader's pov

A blue little hedgehog with a black spot on her left ear was bouncing on her bed, she wasn't about to sleep for now. A blue hedgehog entered her room.

"Please stop being so stubborn and just go to sleep!" he said, with a strong voice.

"No! But daddy; instead of sleeping, can I have a story please?" she begged her father.

"Alright alright! You don't need to beg ok?"

Another hedgehog, a black one with red stripes, entered the room.

"Hey, still not sleeping?" The blue one chuckled.

"Hey Shadow, not yet, Miss needs a story to sleep!"

"Oh, a story? aren't you a little too old for that ?" Shadow asked.

"No! please can I have just one this time??"

She was begging, and the parents laughed

"Sure! Let me search for a story, ok?" the blue one replied. "Hmm....oh! I have one! It's your father's favorite!" he chuckled.

The little girl was so excited she couldn't not move.

"So let me tell you a story, a story about me and your dad..."

Sonic pov:

It was the morning, and I woke up like any other day. I had my usual routine: waking up,eating breakfast (which was mostly chili dog leftovers) and running around to be prepared, and awake if something happened, like another attack of Eggman.

Suddenly I was contacted by Tails, another attack from Eggman not too far from where I was. I ran to the location, Tails was here of course, Knuckles and Amy were already fighting against Eggman's bot. "

Hey guys! I hope I'm not too late!"

"You are, Sonic! Now help us fight those robots!" Amy said, pissed.

We fought his robots, which were stronger for what reason, but we are still stronger than them so it was easy for us to beat them.

Tails asked for help with his new invention. I saw him working day and night about his new project, he even talked to me about how he built it, he was just yapping and yapping about it, but I was just supportive but I had no idea what it was.

"Sonic! Just be careful! It might be dangerous for us! It works on robots but I'm not sure if it's safe for us!" Tails said, trying to warn me.

But like always, I replied, not worried at all .

"Don't worry, Tails! I'm sure it will be ok for me! Just use it and we'll see!" i shrugged his warning and continued to fight.

Tails eventually counted to prevent me when he was gonna use it .

"Ok! In three, two, one!"

when I heard the last number, I suddenly felt someone pushing me in the direction of the aim, it was.. Shadow?! What is he doing here! Why did he do that!

Well that wasn't important at the moment. The moment we got shot by ultrasounds I think? I wasn't really paying attention when he explained how it worked, anyway after the shot, it was a complete black out.
