Sheik is no stranger to the desert. He have everything prepared for the journey. However, that does not mean that he don't know how to have fun. Using his wind glider like a kite, he surfs the sand with his shield just like what he and Link did back in Gerudo Desert. He whoops as surfs all the way to where Fu said Suna should be. The land named Kaze lives up to it's name as the area is extremely windy just like the borders of Hyrule. Though it isn't so bad as to make him roll back all the way Hi like Hyrule's wind would have done to him.

Still, Sheik knows of a way to get through.

He passes a train of caravans, the merchants and hired guards gawking at the sight of him making his way faster than them. A few of the younger Shinobi watching him makes some surprised remarks, some asking why they didn't think to do what he did. Not only is it faster but it also look fun.

Sheik keeps ahead of them until they reach a village. Putting his shield away, he stretches his body. Wearing the Gerudo Voe gear keeps him cool as cucumber under the harsh sunlight. The few people watching him stares for a moment at his tattoo down his spine before looking away. Small children stares at his pointed ears curiously before their parents pull them away.

Rule of thumb on the Hidden Continent seems to be that; if they are weird, they're Shinobi.

For Sheik, however; if they need to cry, they're Shinobi.

He pokes his head through the small merchant street, looking at the goods they are selling with great interest. He also notice that there is a dialect or slang of sorts that different areas used. Buying a prickly pear, he enjoys the juicy fruit born from a cactus tree. Sheik picks a spot under a tree to people watch, curious on the differences he's seeing to that of the Gerudo. Though both lives in the desert, the people of Kaze seems to be struggling more than the Gerudo women.

They are not poor but neither are they rich like the other villages closer to the border of Hi.

Considering the resources of that nation, Sheik understands why Suna feels the need to invade. Even if they steals the borders, war will erupt as the leader of Hi will just send Konoha Shinobi to reclaim the land. So taking down Konoha and occupying the village seemed like a great idea. The problem was, as Sheik have seen, that the Shinobi are shaped by their surrounding. They trained themselves to be adept at using the most abundant element of their homeland. So, facing a Shinobi still within their homeland is just suicide.

It is part of the reason why Suna failed to occupy Konoha. That, and the fact that they were manipulated by their 'ally'. It was an ugly result for them.

The midday sun is strong and Sheik feels drowsy. Climbing up the tree, he settles for a power nap...

Baki sighs, taking his Genin to the village after a rough mission. Not to mention, although most mission are still being sent to Konoha, the new Hokage rerouted those missions to Suna. In a way, Senju Tsunade admits that the war and invasion are not fully their fault. It is an unexpected move that both insults them and forgives them. Not to mention, the war was actually started by someone from Konoha. So she decided that half of the blame falls on Konoha for not better handling their rogues.

He then look at Gaara. Ever since the invasion, he have an odd look on his normally cold expression. Kankuro and Temari both informed him how a stranger managed to convince the Toad Sage to let them go. After returning to Suna and healing from their injuries and wounded pride, Baki had gone about investigating about the strange boy with the odd tattoo. It is a very striking tattoo that he had never seen before. The siblings easily describe it to him and he had gone about looking it up. After all, tattoos like that are usually clan aligned.

Needless to say, he had to go dive deep into the archive to figure out the origin of the tattoo. By the time he he found an answer, he feels as if he had taken a dive into a sea of dust. The siblings joined him, all three showing curiosity about the stranger that saved Gaara from being taken by Konoha. The answer lies in a historical document that speaks of a clan from Tenjin that visited their village from over a 100 years ago, long before Suna is even a twinkle in the eye of their late Shodaime.
