The days turned into weeks, and the shadows of doubt seemed to deepen for Abhimaan and Anshika. Despite their efforts to reconnect, the demands of their careers and the misunderstandings that arose only added to the strain on their relationship. One Friday evening, Abhimaan was preparing for yet another crucial meeting. His assistant, Meera, had just informed him about an urgent issue that needed his immediate attention. As he reviewed the documents, his phone buzzed with a message from Anshika: "Can we meet tonight? I really need to talk to you."

Abhimaan felt a pang of guilt. He knew how important it was for them to spend time together, but the meeting was unavoidable. He quickly replied, "I have an important meeting tonight. Can we meet tomorrow? I'm really sorry, Anshika."

Anshika read the message and sighed. She understood the pressures Abhimaan was under but couldn't shake the feeling of being sidelined. "Okay, tomorrow then. Good luck with your meeting," she replied, trying to mask her disappointment.

The next day, Anshika was called into the hospital early for an emergency surgery. A young girl had been brought in with severe injuries, and Anshika was part of the surgical team. As she scrubbed in, her thoughts were with Abhimaan, hoping they could find time to reconnect later.

Meanwhile, Abhimaan was dealing with the fallout from the previous night's meeting. The merger had hit a significant snag, and he was scrambling to find a solution. His father, Vikram, was equally stressed, and the tension between them was palpable.

"Abhimaan, we need to resolve this as soon as possible. The board is getting restless," Vikram said, his voice strained.

"I know, Dad. I'm working on it," Abhimaan replied, his mind racing with possible solutions.

That evening, as Anshika finished her shift, she received a call from her friend Neha. "Hey, Anshika! Want to grab dinner? You sound like you could use a break," Neha suggested.

"I'd love to, Neha, but I need to meet Abhimaan tonight. We really need to talk," Anshika replied, her voice weary.

"Okay, but remember to take care of yourself too. Don't let work and everything else burn you out," Neha advised.

"I will. Thanks, Neha," Anshika said, feeling a little lighter.

As she arrived home, she received a message from Abhimaan: "I'm sorry, Anshika. The situation at work is worse than I thought. Can we reschedule our meeting?"

Anshika felt a wave of frustration. She had been looking forward to seeing him, to talking about everything that had been weighing on her mind. "Okay. I understand," she replied, her heart heavy with disappointment.
