today has just been another lazy day, sat around the house with not much to do. i'm back to work tomorrow so im making the most of chilling while i can. megan and i are currently sat on the sofa, my head in her lap as i scroll through my phone, alex and reggie cuddled up on the other sofa.
cari what are you guys up to today received at 15:37pm
alex glances at me and smiles.
alex we're all lay on the sofas falling asleep received at 15:38pm
cari i'm doing the same, lay in the venue bored received at 15:38pm
"add me in this chat" megan says, looking down at my phone.
you added "megan" to the chat
megan finally i felt left out received at 15:40pm
my phone rings and cari's name pops up facetiming me. i answer it and her smile turns into a confused look. "who's that your lay on" she asks. i tilt the camera up and megan waves. "weirdos" she says with a little laugh.
"i"m comfy" i say and she smiles, "you seem it" she says.
the door bell rings and alex gets up to answer it. "how was last night?" i ask her, watching as she gets herself more comfy, hugging onto a cushion. "it was good, it's so hot here tho so it made it harder" she explains to me.
alex turns around and looks at us with her eyebrows raised, "so guys we have got a new housemate" she says. the other girl who lived here left about 2 weeks ago and moved back home so the room has been there ever since. i sit up as the girl walks in, my eyes instantly widening when i see her.
"lucy?" i say confused. don't tell me my ex girlfriend is moving here.
"oh fuck" i hear cari say quietly through the phone.
lucy smiles, "oh hey i didn't know you lived here" she says, coming over and giving me a small hug.
reggie helps her bring all of her bags into the spare room, while the rest of us look at each other shocked. "who's lucy?" meg asks quietly.
"her ex girlfriend" cari says. i look at her on the phone, giving her a sympathetic look, not really knowing what to say. she messes with her hair, now sat up unrelaxed. we both just stare at each other with confusion.
"come to me please" she says. i shake my head and sigh. "I can't, you know I can't" I tell her. I stand up and walk to my bedroom, laying on my bed so I can speak to her with a little privacy.
"why the fuck has she had to move in" cari says, raising her voice a little. "stop worrying, nothing is going to happen trust me " I tell her.
she leans her head back staring up at the ceiling. "I don't want her anywhere near you, I saw what she was like with you in florida" she says to me, getting frustrated.
alex comes in my room and lies on my bed next to me, giving cari and I a smile.
"cari i know how your going to be feeling right now, i know for a fact that you are debating coming home but you don't need to do that okay. nothing is going to happen here, she's moved in and we are going to make her feel welcome. if em wanted her back she would of had her back already. so please promise me that you will go and enjoy your tour and stop worrying and just trust" alex says to her best friend.
cari nods at her.
"okay" she says.
i look at alex who smiles back at me.
"okay me and em are going to go now and welcome her, love you" alex says to her.
"love you too" she replies.
alex gets up and leaves the room, walking back to where meg and lucy are. i look back at my phone, "okay I better go, I'll message you and call me when you've finished your show and we can fall asleep on facetime or something" i say to her and she nods.
we end the call and i brace myself before I walk into the living room. alex is currently giving lucy a tour of the kitchen area. i look down at my phone seeing a message pop up from cari.
cari she better not touch any of my tequila received at 16:01
I giggle to myself and shake my head.

"so what made you decide to come to New York?" reggie asks lucy, as we all sit around the living room watching movies and having a couple of beers. i lie in megs arms as she plays with my hair, still shocked that my ex girlfriend has moved in with me.
she begins to answer the question just as I receive a facetime call off cari. I answer and look at lucy as she talks. "I came here for work, it's better for photography over here" she explains, i look at my phone seeing cari roll her eyes.
"hi" she says to me with a smile on her face. "hi" I reply to her, slightly blushing by the way she is looking at me right now.
"you look comfy" she says to me, watching as meg continues to mess with my hair.
i smile, "I'm looking after her while your away" megan says showing her face on the camera. cari laughs and rests her phone on something while she gets her ear monitors put on her for the show, winding the guy up by purposely moving every 5 seconds.
"Okay, I've gotta go guys my shows starting soon" she says to us.
we all say bye to her before she ends the call.
