Late Night Ride (Pezzy x OC)

Meeting the roommates... again?

We head into his house through the garage and he shows me to the so are bathroom and I thank him. I hear him run up the stairs to his bathroom. I quickly do my business and walk out after washing my hands. I didn't want to just snoop around his place so I found myself standing awkwardly in the hall scrolling through my phone.

I hear footsteps come down the stairs and I figured it was pezzy but when I looked up it was someone else. Actually I recognize him from last night, he's a big guy really muscular and talk, dark curly hair and glasses. He notices me and looks confused and I give an awkward smile and wave.

"I recognize you.... From last night, Athena right? " he asked for clarification and I nod "yeah, I hope you don't mind, me and pezzy were riding close by and we both had to pee so... I didn't know he had roommates. " I explain to which he nods "nah you're good, I figured after last night we'd be seeing you more often honestly. I'm Nelson but my friends call me grizzy" he said introducing himself and I smile "nice to meet you grizzy" "likewise"

"Grizzy what the hell is taking so long, puffer is complainning because we are supposed to start our streams soon" I heard another voice and more footsteps. I see another guy, the guy that was teasing pezzy last night. He notices me and his eyes widen "oh shit sorry I didn't know we had company. " "oh no no you're fine, I'm not staying I'm just waiting on pezzy. " I say a bit flustered. "Droid you remember Athena from last night, Athena meet jaime, we all call him droid. " grizzy introduces us to each other and I wave a bit. "Don't let me keep you, it seems you're both needed by whatever the hell a puffer is " I say and giggle. They laugh a bit and nod waving goodbye as they make their way back up the stairs. I let out a shakey breath I didn't even know I was holding.

After a bit pezzy comes back down "sorry I got sidetracked with my cat" I giggle "you're fine, I had the pleasure of meeting grizzy and droid, they seem cool. " I say softly and he nods "yeah they are awesome friends. Are you thirsty? " he asked and I nod and we head to the kitchen. I lean against the island as he grabs us water bottles. "So, if you don't mind me asking, what do you guys do for work to afford such a nice place? " I ask "not in like a rude way, I mean I have an idea but I'm curious is all" I further explain hoping he wasn't offended. "Oh uh well we do content creation like YouTube and stuff. " he says and I nod "that's pretty cool" I say and drink my water. "I don't know much about content creation, I mean I watch YouTube here and there but it's mostly like podcasts and stuff" I say. "What about you, what do you do for work. I mean you're new to the area just moved here, are you looking for a job?" He asked. I chew on my lip trying to decide if I should be honest or not. He's my first friend, or closest thing to a friend, since I've moved. Do I want to risk that right now? I guess we aren't too far into our friendship, I could always make new friends if needed.
