Me pezzy and grizzy talk about just random things when droid shows up. "Hey guys, puffers here" he said coming in through the front door with the infamous puffer they talk about but have yet to meet. I smile a bit and wave at them. I recognize puffer as one of the guys from Denny's which makes sense honestly. He seems to recognize me as well and doesn't even seem shocked to see me. "Hey, Athena right? I'm Chris but most people call me puffer" he said and I nod "nice to meet you puffer, I hope you don't mind me joining" I say and shakes his head "nah youre good, I'm just happy to have someone new to talk to. Means I won't be the only one baby sitting these dumbasses" he jokes.

"Woah woah woah!!! " droid yells while pretending to look offended. "My heart bro" he said making me giggle. "Anyway before we start, droid can you join us? " I ask and he nods and him and puffer sit on the couch. I look at pezzy and he nods reassuringly while  rubbing my thigh softly. I take a deep breath before explaining everything to them. From my abilities to why I moved here. Puffer looked shocked, grizzy and droid a little scared.

"So let me get this straight... You can see, touch, and hear dead people? Nah I don't believe you there's no way" droid said and laughed nervously. "Would you like proof? " I ask and pezzy smirks knowing exactly what I mean. I've done it for him a few times and he thought it was cool. I watch as they all grow even more nervous and they nod slowly, almost unsure. "Can I record this? " grizzy asked as he takes his phone out. I was hesitant but I nod. He starts recording and I grab my vape from my pocket and get up walking to the middle of the room so they can all see. I stand behind skyler, who is only tall enough that his head is at my stomach. I nod down at him and take a hit off my vape before blowing the smoke down watching it pour over skyler and take the shape of him. I smile fondly "guys this is skyler. " I say and they all, minus pezzy, were shell shocked. "I think I scared them" skyler said while worried he hurt them in any way. I shake my head "you didnt scare them, they just need a minute. Why don't you go play with sly and Oso" I tell him and he nods running off. I go sit back down sitting next to pezzy again, his hand instantly finding it's way back to my thigh rubbing it.

Grizzy stops recording and I watch them for any ill reaction. "So... Ghosts are real? " puffer asked and I nod. "And you can see them, hear them and touch them? " droid asked and I nod once again. "Who's skyler? " grizzy asked "he was my first ghost... " I respond. "And you knew? " grizzy asked pezzy to which pezzy nods. "I understand if you're afraid of me now, I promise to not bring any spirits that are considered malicious or bad. Skyler is the only one allowed to go anywhere with me because he's just a kid. Every other ghost I ignore unless I'm being paid to help someone. Which brings me to my next thing. I'm being watched, followed even. The only places I don't have that feeling is my place and here, they act as safe rooms like in video games. " I explain

"Any idea who or what it is? " puffer asked and I shake my head "no, and that's whats terrifying about it. I've had times where ghosts will realize I can see them and they will bug me until I help them or they give up. But this one is just watching me, and I don't know what they want. " I say and sigh rubbing my head. "On that note let's carve some pumpkins" I say trying to lift the mood a bit.
