I closed my notebook after a three hour class and my back hurt. As I looked around half of students were focusing hard and making weird faces and the other half were sleeping with their eyes open. I was a mixture of both. Loren however, did not look tired whatsoever. She was fumbling with her pen one second and writing in her diary the next. her beautiful blond locks surrounding her face.
She was wearing a side braid and she must have sensed me looking at her and her mouth moved to say "stop staring, it's creepy" in a sing song voice looking straight ahead. "Do i look like the staring type?" I said in a mocking way but i guess somehow it sounded hot? my face inched a bit close and I looked straight in her eyes failing to prove my point.
I saw the blood rushing to her cheeks and she also seemed nervous when she said "you-you just proved your point" stealing the words from my mind.
I was talking with Sierra when I saw her enter the class and she looked like a lost princess With her all white outfit matching her blond hair and blue eyes that could be seen from a mile away.

I've always liked girls who had that dark aesthetic, confident not afraid to ask what they want. I heard Sierra's loud voice when she said "Guys we have survived the first day that means its-" "Party time!" Aaron finished her sentence with same excitement as her. Istg they were the same person. Oh yeah that was Sierra's boyfriend. "Oh my god babe we finish each other's-" sierra said that as she kept her hand on his shoulder. "Sandwiches" Aaron said and kissed her. I ducked my head and said quietly "someone burn my eyes" Sierra probably heard it and said "shutup dick head." I turned around to see Loren flew to get away from me almost tumbling down the stairs. I chuckled a little to myself.
Sierra was my childhood friend and my only friend who didn't leave me during the hard times. We used to go to school together, she was there to comfort me when my mom fell sick and I'll always owe her. My phone suddenly ringed and the name that popped up was my dad. My anger started to boil and veins tighnting. How dare he have the audacity to call after what he did. I silenced it and made a mental note to deal with it later. We all got up and left the classroom. And outside there she was waiting for Sierra. Sierra catched up to her and said "hey where were you?" "I was just waiting for you" Loren definitely saw my face above Sierra's tiny figure but i didn't pay attention to her and looked somewhere else. Like the grass cuz grass was more interesting right? "So are you gonna come? it's the first party of the semester and don't tell me you have to study." "I actually do-" but Sierra cut her off before she could say more. " Loren it's the first day come on." When Loren didn't looked convinced she made her puppy eyes and said "for me?" Loren sighed and said "okay." But only for you." They hugged and Sierra said "see u in a few" Sierra finally turned to me and said "so.. you into Loren or something?" "I mean she's pretty but I'm not gonna fuck her." " I know that's why I was a bit confused but idk I think I saw something" making her dramatic eyes and looking at her boyfriend. "Hmm no you didn't." I mocked her sarcasm back.
