Wednesday, 11:02 AM: 23 hours left to pay the electric bill;

When Team Chaotix left Tails' cabin, there was no time to waste. The trio felt renewed in their spirits of the case and are now determined more than ever to getting it solved. Since Station Square is a massive city, and the shelter is in the heart of it, Vector believes if they hurry now, the dog thieves can still be found before it's too late.

"Our next move boys is to search everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE. This can take all day, but if we work together on this, we'll sure find them!" Stated Vector, a fresh wave of determination was overwhelming him.

"But wait Vector," Espio started to speak as they were reaching into the city. "While we know there's two Mobians involved, we actually still don't got much evidence of how they look, not to mention their getaway vehicle."

Vector knew Espio was right. For the trio to find the culprits at this point is like finding a needle in a haystack without any key details. Normal investigators would wait to find a suspect when a profile is up for them to start with, like facial recognition. But not Team Chaotix, they'll have to use the DNA profile to have as their starting point.

"True, but with the big help from Tails, it's better than nothing because the footprints aren't helping." He replied.

Once they parked their vehicle, Vector checked the time on his watch; it was 11:30, excellent time to start. He commanded Charmy to fly around the city, Espio to be invisible and search wherever he can, and Vector himself will walk around trying find anything out of the ordinary. If they find something shady, they must report it immediately and stay in touch with their communicators.

"One more thing," Said Vector. "We will meet back here at 5:00."

With a nod of approval from everyone, and a hand stack afterwards, it was time to get rolling.

"TEAM CHAOTOX!" They shouted.

So as told, Charmy took to the skies and look down below of the never sleepy city. Traffic didn't seemed strange and everyone on the sidewalks appeared to be busy with the schedules they had for themselves. The trio was to be on the lookout for someone with dark grey to white fur, but for Charmy, he didn't find anyone from the rainbow of Mobians walking to and fro.

Suddenly, his nose caused a whiff of something delicious and got distracted. His eyes led him to a chilli dog stand run by to his surprise, Big the Cat and his trusty pet frog Froggy. Charmy's stomach growled for food and he decided to check out the stand, maybe a quick bite wouldn't hurt, it's almost lunch time anyway.

"Hey Big!" He said. "I didn't know you make chilli dogs."

"Oh! Hey there little buddy!" Big said happily. "I'm running this stand for a short while. I'm building my best friend Froggy here a small little home. I'm raising money so I can build him the best little home ever!"

"Ribbit." Was Froggy's response.

"Hm, that seems interesting." Charmy replied. His attention quickly came back to the freshly made chilli dogs that his stomach was craving for one more than ever now. "How much is for one chilli dog?" Charmy asked trying to not focus on how hungry he was.

"$1.50!" Replied Big.

Charmy looked through his pocket and only had $6.00 that was leftover from Vector, which was enough to buy more than one.

"Great! I'll take four!"

Meanwhile, Espio was two miles from his best friends, making sure to never have eyes see him. Using his ninja skills, he climbed to the tallest sky scrappers, jumping from building top to the next. He looked below beyond for suspicious people. He did noticed moments afterwards some Mobian with grey fur, but when he got a closer look it was someone who was entirely grey, Espio cleared them as a suspect. Most times he would even stop for a moment to feel anything that seemed a threat. Within two hours so far of searching, however, there was nothing.
