DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING
Clary
The following morning I woke up and did the same thing I did yesterday, I got dressed and combed my hair, brushed my teeth and went downstairs, my mother had a cup of coffee and oatmeal waiting for me on the kitchen Island. I sit down and eat it silently as she typed on her computer. When I was done, she quietly told me it was time to leave and we went outside and drove to school. The ride was quiet, clearly she was still upset about yesterday. When we finally got to school, she turned to me.
"Remember you have another appointment with your therapist tomorrow after school," She said, I simply nodded, and went to open the car door. "Oh, and Clary..." I looked back, waiting for her to continue her sentence.
"Yes?" I asked.
"If you need me to pick you up early...just let me know," She said, her eyes softening. I gave her a small smile in agreement. It was good to know she did take me at least a bit seriously. I got out of the car and was on my way inside the school. There was a bit more traffic this morning, which meant that I was right on time for class. I was about to walk into my world history class, when suddenly an arm of gold slammed into the locker in front of me, blocking my path.
"Couldn't stay away from me could you red?" It was Jace, his hair was pushed back, and he wore a dark grey shirt with a matching charming smile to go with it. He smelled like cologne, it was a woody pine-like scent with a hint of artificial mango that no doubt came from his juul.
"I'm staying." I mumbled, unable to meet his eyes. I could feel Jace body shift, I look back up and see him leaning on the locker, his composure relaxed. It was odd seeing him so relaxed when my first impressions of him were tense and angry, it made him a lot less threatening.
"I know I'm pretty irresistible, but you're gonna need to try to resist a little more if you're going to survive Red," Jace said causally, right as he did, I saw Mary Kate slowly walk past us, her eyes glued to me. Clearly, I wasn't giving the best impression. I didn't need Jace to cause any more destruction in my life. So, with that thought, I take a step back to create more space between us.
"Believe me, it's not by choice." I said, coldly to make sure the conversation would end, and circled around him to make it into the classroom. I saw Mary Kate sitting in the same seat she did yesterday, so I went to go sit next to her, just like I did the day before. She offered me a weak smile, but spent the rest of the period quietly taking notes. The energy in the room was heavy with disapproval, and I wondered If I had just blown my chance at a normal school life at this school. Who was I kidding, since the beginning there was no way I would be able to have a normal school life here, not with what happened.

I walked into the lunch room, just as I had the day before, except this time, I make my way to the table Mary Kate had described to me. I saw her, she was sitting at a small table with two people. One of them was tall, with blonde curly hair and brown eyes, she had freckles that covered her whole body and a hot pink tube top with a brandy Melville zip up hoodie paired with bright jeans. She was the complete opposite of Mary Kate, who paled in comparison, color scheme-wise at least. Then, there was the guy next to them. He was dressed nicely, a violet polo shirt, with khaki trousers and what looked like Cole Hahn loafers. Mary Kate saw me and her face lit up. She raised her hand and waived me over. I slowly approached them and sat down.
"Lola," Mary Kate began as she picked up the sandwich in front of her. "This is Clary, she's in my World History class." She said softly, quietly, gently, with the sweetest smile possible. It made me feel silly for feeling as though she would completely shun me.
