[ 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓. ]

       — 𝐘𝐎𝐔 were woken up from your deep slumber in the middle of the night, thanks to the loud ringing of your ringtone coming from your phone.

Your eyes glanced to the window outside from your apartement, the night sky still decorated with stars as the moon still shines bright, the dim moon light was the one brightening the darkness of your room.

"Whose calling me this late.. ?" You dozed off, rubbing your eye to wake up. You then grabbed your phone, pulling the charger as the (f/c) cable dangled onto the floor.

Your widened a little from amusement, "Aki?" You mumbled in your breath.

You then answered, swiping the screen with your thumb to accept the call before then putting the phone directly to your ear.

Soon after, a familiar masculine voice calls out your name. "[Y/n]?" His voice sounding tired yet a bit annoyed.

You hummed in reply, "Why are you calling me this late, Aki?" You questioned his intent, your eyes darting to the ceillings above you in boredom.

Your ear soon picked up his quiet yet audible sighing, "Ah.. you sound like you just woke up." his tone sounding regretful as he then continues.

"I must've woke you from your sleep, didn't i?" He didn't wait for your reply as he then continues with his sentence.

"I'm really sorry, [Y/n]. i'm just going to end this call here and now so you could continue rest–"

"Oh! wait no!" you cut him off as you slowly sat up from your bed before leaning to the the bed frame, stopping him before he could even end the call.

"it's.. it's alright, Aki." You sent out a small understanding chuckle, still wanting to continue the converstation with the latter despite being tired yourself.

"Though, i got to say that calling me this late at night isn't very usual of you, Aki. Is something bothering you?"

Once the question fell out of your mouth, the male grumbled once again in agitation. Despite not being able to see him, you could almost see him messaging his temple just from his tone alone.

"It's just.. Denji and Power have really been getting on my nerves lately." He mumbled.

Your eyebrows raised, not surprised hearing them like that since this wasn't the first time you heard them get to his nerves.

"Oh, yeah?" The (h/c) chuckled. You grabbed a pillow before hugging them, the soft cushion weighing down from your weigh and strong hold as you let yourself feel comfortable enough to hear his story as you then questioned again.

"What did they do this time?"

Denji and Power was a little mischivious pals, you heard from Aki himself that they fight almost all the time and anything they can argue with.

Wether its about food, Meowy, anything. And not only that, they lately have been pulling pranks on him almost every week, if not, almost everyday.

"They pulled a prank again today." he murmured in irritation, you snickered from your suspicion being right.

"They somehow managed to change my phone's ring tone to some embarassing audio! When i thought it couldn't get any worse, they kept spamming calls when i was in the public train!"

He let his heart out, his anger pouring down the drain as he continues.

"Could you imagine that? I don't even know how they can do something like that despite having no electronics before." He shook his head, scowling when he mentioned them never having electronics.

You couldn't help but chuckle, knowing that their acts didn't end there. "Mhm, Is that it?" You shot a question.

"Oh," he scoffed in annoyance,

"i wish it was, Denji kept running the water on, using them without a care. My water bill is problably so high just because of him!"

Hearing this, you couldn't help but chuckle again. His voice sounding even more agitated from before once he tells you what the blonde did.

"That's not even the worst part!" His threw his hand in frustation.

"Power doesn't flush after doing her business!" He scowled from anger before then chuckling from how stupid it was. Still sounding angry but felt it was way too ridiculous for him.

Your face scrunched from how funny it was as you then laughed your heart out, not being able to keep it in anymore.

"Can you imagine that? Not only that, the whole bathroom stink after that!" Aki shook his head,

"When i and Denji told her to flush, she claimed that 'devils don't flush'. What does that supposed to mean?!" He rubbed his temple to calm the headache.

"And guess what? My toilet's clogged right after she was done!" He continues the story, leaving out the part where he told Denji to unclog and clean the toilet by himself.

As you were finished laughing, you swept a tear from your waterline from laughing too hard.

You hummed as you thought of helping him. "Well, do you want me to take care of them?" You offered to take a weight off of his shoulder.

"Maybe i can ask Miss Makima to let either Denji or  maybe Power to stay in my apartement instead of yours." You shrugged, not feeling bothered by the thought and idea of them staying in your apartement.

He stayed quiet, the quiet silence taking over the both parties for a bit of time.

".. No," he sighed. "it's alright. I just felt exhausted from watching them and handling their troubles." He pinched the bridge of his nose with his index finger and his thumb.

You sent a small chuckle from his stubborn decision.

"Well, i can come visit every once in a week to watch them so you could rest, Aki."

You offered an alternative option, wanting to see both the blonde and the fiend every once in a while but also wanting him to rest fully without getting distrupted by the both of them.

He stayed silent as you waits for his response. "Alright.." he mumbled under his breath, quiet loud enough for you to hear.

After that, the silence took over once again.

Shortly after, he then broke out the silence, "Since we both are still awake," his voice mumbled, "how about.." he trails off, thinking of the right words to say before continuing.

Feeling his own shoulder tensing from nervousment. He then gathered the courage, taking a small huff to relax the tension in his muscle.

"𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓.. 𝐖𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍?"
