Chapter 10

My Lola is cooking Adobo. Oh-oh, Everything's fine after what happened earlier. I smiled at her.

"Lola, you're unbelievable." I pouted.

"I really am." Lola said. "Buti at gising ka na. Wear some comfortable dress Hija."

"W-why?" I instantly look at her, confused.

"O-oh, your Dad and Mom are having a dinner here together with your sister." Lola said.

"Do you need help with that, Lola?"

"Hand me that container." Ibinuhos nila ang Adobo sa bowl container. Ibinilin naman nila na ilagay ko na 'yon sa hapag.

I already placed the container on the table. They cooked Adobo, Chicken curry even Chopsuey and Fresh Lumpia. They cooked all this? For just an Hours huh.

"Hey!" Door release Avril who's waving at me, following Mom and Dad.

Dad wearing his white long sleeve polo with a black tie and black pants. Expected, My Mom wearing a leather skirt cut the right side and white fitted top with her black blazer. Dagdag rin na mas tumangkad sila sa white high heels niya.

Of course my sister Avril with her high-waist fitted maong square pants and sky blue fitted long sleeve turtle neck. The white shoes is applicable with her style. Even her dark brown short hair.

"Good evening, my baby." My Mom gave me a tight hug. I gave them a faint smile. Tiningnan niya ako't nakapajama pa rin.

"Where's your Lola?" My Dad said. He gave me a bag, shopping bag. "That's a gift for you and your Lola." There's inside.

"She's done cooking. Take your seat, Mom and Dad. I just need to change." Umakyat ako ng kwarto.

I wore my muffled white dress with it's floral design above my knees and white high slippers.

"How beautiful, Avi." My Mom smiled at me.

"Thanks Mom. Lola gave me this last Christmas." Bumaling ako kay Lola na nakaupo na sa unahan ng hapag.

We just start to eat when my Lola got her phone call.

"Well, just need to answer this." It takes a minutes to end the call. After that we start to eat.

"Mom, tomorrow is Ken's birthday. Do you want to go?" My sister said.

"I have my works, Avril. Did you invited Avi?" Bumaling sila sa'kin at tipid naman na tumango ako. "O-oh then that's great, you will meet friends there, Avi." She smiled at me.

"Mama, I have my invitation at Morti's family events next friday. Do you want to join with us?" My Dad said.

"O-oh, I don't think I will. This next Friday, I have a lot to do about-" Nag-iisip kung ipagpapatuloy pa ang sasabihin.

"About what?" My Dad cut what she wants to say.

"A-about the s-school, Alano." Lola Dhel smile at us.

"Y-you're going to pass it on?" My mom shooked his head.

"Y-yeah. I don't think I can handle the school. You don't even like to pursue it." I saw my Lola's eyes. I even saw her disappointment.

"I'm s-sorry, Ma. I j-just, I have all things need to do. I have no idea handling the school. I will gave up that to others. I think you can decide who deserves that." My Dad gave them a faint smile. He looks upset.

"I will think of it. Just need to take time to decide." I smiled at my Lola.

My sister at my left trying to read my eyes. I stop myself to glare at her because front of us is my Dad, sitting next to Lola likewise. While my Mom and Avril are opposite.
