Chapter 14

Kuya Rojer stopped at the parking lot. I opened the door of the car while I got my wallet and opened my phone.
 
I sighed in irritation when I heard those beeps from my phone. The texts, chats, and missed calls from my sister are literally annoying.

"Mauuna na po ba ako?" I awkwardly asked.

"Avi, samahan na kita. Hintayin mo ako saglit." Nagmamadaling sinara ni kuya Rojer ang sasakyan.

When we finally arrived at the store inside the mall, I choose to find an elegant wristwatch, predicting that Kuya Ken will like it.

Kuya Rojer just take his seat at the waiting area. I look at him and giving him a signal that he should go inside but he refused.

"Yes Ma'am, do need assistance? Just tell what you needs, what you wants?" I saw salesman who genuinely smiled at me. That is sales talking, after all.

"A gift. A silver a wristwatch. Maybe simple but it's attractive?" I just shrug and keep on walking.

"Here. These are the latest and brand new wristwatch for you, Miss. Come and look for them." I keep on glancing and looking those wristwatch individually.

Iniwan niya na ako ng salesman since there's one of the customer that I saw on my pheripheral vision, he approached.

I keep on glancing of every pieces of wristwatch until I love that one!

"THIS! O-ouch!" I immediately and irritatedly glanced at my side. Then, I desperately rolled my eyes again. He stamped my foot!

"YOU!" Halos magkasabay kami ng boses, ngunit mas maingay ang dala ng boses ko. "AGAIN?" I added.

"Not again." He heard him cursed and released a sigh. "I wanted to buy this. I love that minimalist design, simple." He smiled at salesman.

Wow, what catalyst. I wanted to complain with his quickly change emotion, pakitang-tao ba siya? But when I realized what watch is he pointing.

"N-NO! AKO NAUNA! THAT'S MINE!" I said.

"Oh, did you bought it? Did she bought this already?" Napalingon kami sa salesman na umiling. "Then, I will-"

"HOW MUCH? I WILL BUY THAT. THAT THAT! MAS NAUNA AKO D'YAN." I pointed my index finger through the glass as if my fingers will touch the wristwatch.

"I am the first one who said it, Miss. Can you just look at the other designs." The way he says those words irritate me. Bakit parang ang hinahanon niya magsalita? But his brow arched.

"AKO ANG NAUNA. LOOK FOR THE OTHER WRISTWATCH." I rolled my eyes and released my credit card. "I will buy it."

"You, a little brat. Just release them for me, okay. You just broke my phone, and now you are here again destroying my night. What are you? I don't even know you." He said without any emotion on his face. "Plus, Miss. Stop being so noisy. I am the first who tell to the salesman that I wanted to buy this. Stop being so...." He added, which get my eyes rolled.

"Excuse me–" ?

"Oh great, aalis ka na pala eh." Aniya na mas ginalit ako.

"WHAT ARE YOU! I don't even broke your phone! Ikaw ang may kasalanan non!" I rolled my eyes. "And please, I. WILL. BUY. THIS." I quickly look at the salesman with his accompliances saleslady with their confusing looks. I sighed.

"We're sorry Sir, Ma'am. Maybe both of you should look another wristwatch. Hindi po namin kayang ibenta sainyo 'yan nang pinag-aagawan. Particularly, it's only one design we have. It's already sold out." The salesman bitterly smiled at us.
